This all reminds me of when it came out that Rick Perry's ranch was called "n*head ranch". The townspeople assured us this is not racist, because that is just the colloquial term for a flower. It's just a flowers name, nobody associates it with anything derogatory.

I agree (and from what I've seen most do) that since Highway Patrol took over it has been better, and last night probably the best. I think the selective leaking from the Ferguson PD has been again, horrible, and caused more issues. And Nixon has hurt more than he's helped since Thursday. He should have empowered the Highway Patrol chief but has instead cut him at the knees.

I think people should realize the schizm from last week to this week. Since the change from County to City police last Thursday, they have done a better job of separating treatment between protestors and rioters (see: antonio french's twitter). Most of SS examples are from last week. While there have been exceptions this week, it's been largely better.

It's funny, for most in-state recruits, you think you have a good shot. But the past few years, very few Columbia, Mo (where mizzou is located) have committed to the school. I can't really blame the kids. There is a "nice to stay near home where my parents can see me" and there is "literally staying at home". He'd be great to get but I understand if he doesn't go Mizzou.
