  1. So I'm sure this guy is getting on campus and I hate HS catchers... BUTTTT This Jared Jones writeup (prep catcher committed to LSU)
  2. Of course not, I'm going down the BA 500 lol
  3. @Harold's Leg Lift thoughts on estevan moreno?
  4. Fegan's comment that vaughn/eloy + colson etc not being near the ballpark is silly. We, as a fanbase, learned a lot with Sale. Yeah, by WAR, by contract, etc, it's hard to hit that value. But teams aren't going to trade so much that having Soto just makes them the new Nationals. That said, I think we see it be an offseason trade where rosters can better align to handle the package. A top ten prospect will exchange hands. Maybe 2 more top 100 prospects. Several non-bullshit prospects in the teams top 20 will go. But they can't send multiple mlb ready prospects plus their top 5. It just literally becomes not worth it even though he is the best player in baseball. And all teams have to do to know that is look to the magic kingdom.
  5. I like what callis has said about him. Pitchability but good spin rates.
  6. BALL STATE #381 A 6-foot, 185-pound lefthander, Schweitzer pitched out of the bullpen for Ball State for two years before transitioning to a full-time starting role this spring. He excelled in the new role, posting a 2.65 ERA over 16 starts and 91.2 innings with 112 strikeouts (29.6 K%) and 30 walks (7.9 BB%). A smaller lefthander, Schweitzer has average stuff across the board, with a fastball that sits around 89-91 mph and has been up to 96, as well as a solid slider around 80 mph and a changeup in the low 80s. All three look like average pitches, and he has shown enough strikes to warrant a chance at starting at the next level, but his stuff might play up better out of the pen.
  7. D'andre Smith is from jimmy lambert's HS
  8. confused why dodgers had to go under already
  9. Reading Sprinkle's bio I feel like they would have drafted Ritter here had he made it.
  10. fucking astros

  12. boo I feel like mlb told the draft tracker guys to slow down to sync with the broadcast
  13. wow have a damn draft Oswego East
  14. Feels like a very different draft from Cleveland
  15. I feel bad about talking negatively about Cannon. I'm just abused from BA's love affair with college friday night pitchers. Always overinflated by them, but in 3rd round it's an excellent pick.
  16. Rangers grab Porter, good call @Harold's Leg Lift
  17. They should send him to DSL for fun.
  18. And we are in round 4.
  19. of course, and that's what I eyed with a different pitcher. They just need to prove to me they can advance that.
  20. So this is me being impressed by draft ranking because there's nothing else about Cannon I like lol.
  21. sox select CANNON wow
