looks like he had a big jump senior year. Definitely a bummer reading some of these guys stats. There is a big fat noticeable 2020 missing. Who knows if he makes this jump his junior year had he not missed 2020 and finds himself in the top ten rounds. But also a lot of the guys today have big K numbers, so not expecting too much. Kanny kinda weeds that out.

The switch-hitter should be able to remain a plus hitter in pro ball, with plenty of bat speed and line-drive oriented swings that produce extra-base hits in the gaps more than home runs. An above-average runner, Baldwin has played second base, shortstop, third base and all three outfield spots. He is best in the outfield, where he has an above-average arm and average range, but he may profile best at second base. Baldwin turned down the Giants in the 15th round last year. He was even better this year, and a strong performance in the Cape Cod League should further help his draft stock.
