Two things can be true at the same time: - US should be more lenient with house arrest-type set-ups for parents with children in many more cases than it is - Separating a child from their parent in a new country and putting them in a shelter with other lost children with no answers to when they can see their parent, family, or any familiarity ever again. And both the previous system and the legal system prioritizes finding some version of known family for children like these. The abundant growth and purposeful separation makes it very likely some to many may lose track of their parents (meaning the government will not know the whereabouts).

Now that they are in actual games, really wish we had two AZL teams. Easily could have filled out another team and gotten consistent playing time.

Sad to see Jendersson Caballero on DSL still and ok the DL with injury. He was prett good last year and was one of our bigger 2016 signings.

There are going to be a lot more moves than this.

I should also add that Tejada Jr did make it on Jesse Sanchez' "best of the rest", he's at least a name guy most of the INTL prospect guys would have run into.

Unlikely any will be in top 30. But last year we were so in-between with Robert they ended up having a very small class that was mostly filled out in February. This should be a much bigger one. And we're obviously seeing a ton of examples of some pretty cheap signings having big impacts so you want to put your line in the water a lot. I wanted to just sign 40-50 300k guys but obviously we aren't going to do that and a bunch of teams could just offer $305k.

Glad there was a thread for this. At the game it was so incredibly confusing the whole 8th inning. Going through three bullpen arms in the seventh only to leave Minaya in WITH NO OTHERS warming up was maddening.

Yeah I would put it pretty close to 50/50. I believe that AA is the real "big test" for Eloy. That's a stadium and level that has sucked up and spit out our hitters for years. But AAA is a good test for kopech, in that it's both a bandbox, and with more experienced hitters it's the place to really modify his control. Eloy in Charlotte to me is just finding the right series to promote him again.

And a bit of me is like, you don't want to play for the spurs? Who knows if he's on the verge of becoming a complete primadonna.
