I still just don’t know how to judge this season. Because of our division the 2nd half of the season was just kind of there. Tons of injuries, worse winning percentage than last year, same amount of playoff wins as last year, obliterated in the playoffs, did have a few guys take a step forward. I don’t know.

If Gavin has some trade value now he’s the one to deal imo. Vaughn will be one our best hitters next year and his value is probably at his lowest. Keep him here.

And as great as McCullers is, he does have control issues. Putting him in a rowdy opposing ballpark makes it easier for those issues to come to light. Like you said, nobody’s saying this just became an easy task but I do think it’s the best possible scenario for the Sox.

Definitely agree with all this. Personally works out nicely for me since I’m already off tomorrow and gives me sometime to rest up before I commute back to STL but having it at 1:07 just blows for most people. Also, I highly doubt it’ll match the craziness of last night but it’s still going to be rowdy there. As for the game itself, as I said before I hope they pitch McCullers tomorrow but in no way is it a must win for them if they do. No matter what we still have to find a way to win in Houston which is an issue.
