  1. Seemed fair but we clearly shouldn't give this organization the benefit of the doubt. I was always on the fence about bringing him back just cause I didn't know his health situation but if he was always healthy(and like you said the tired arm was always going to happen last year) then the QO was an absolute no brainer...but here we are.
  2. Batted 3rd Wednesday and Thursday. And 2nd yesterday. It’s been a thing.
  3. Wouldn’t it be nice if getting into the playoffs and deciding seeds was based on series wins instead of games won? We’re still 6-6, series wins doesn’t mean anything.
  4. Agreed on all points. Yaz will be fine and getting Yoan’s obp back in the lineup will certainly help but ya, it’s incredible that a weakness that everyone knew about(and like you said, Hahn called out himself) wasn’t addressed in the off-season.
  5. I have nothing of substance to add, I just truly hate the fact that Tony La Russa is in my life.
  6. Remember when there were people saying the results the Cubs had after their rebuild wouldn’t be good enough for the Sox? Good times.
  7. Should have spent Leury’s money on bringing back Herm.
  8. Hammy? Let me guess, it's a hammy
  9. Can we go rescue Michael Conforto from whatever dimension he was transported to?
  10. Ball was already out of his glove when the contact happened. I guess I don't know how the rule works but Tim was already fuckin that play up before the interference.
  11. This is an absolutely clown show lolololol
  12. AV is doing just fine against rhp so far this season in the sporadic ab's he's seen. And Plesac is not good.
  13. Tying run at the plate in the 7th with Vaughn available? Ya, why wouldn't you keep Haseley in?
  14. Well at least Jake has absolutely murdered the ball today.
  15. Agreed. He didn't have good stuff today and didn't get destroyed which shows some progress for him. Obviously if he looks like this consistently it's a problem but for a day where he clearly didn't have it, it's nice he was able to keep us around at least.
  16. I mean that's fine and I agree overall but that ball hit him in the glove, it's not like he was 20 feet away from it. Luis is kind of in no man's land there and with 0 outs he decided to tag up which isn't the wrong decision there. Leury was the one that forced everything and ran the team into an out.
  17. One of those days/series when even when we hit the ball hard it's an out. 114 mph exit velocity into a line out. Ouch.
  18. Rebuttal: Amazing the Sox scored a run there!
  19. To be fair, Tony never said he was running the bases well, just running them...
  20. The lineup needs a lot right now but they need Yoan back in a big way. Especially with Yaz not being Yaz right now, this team has 0 patience.
  21. He'll regress big time shortly. But yes, he's been great so far.
