  1. Would we have been chanting "KERRY, KERRY, KERRY" at Soxfest?
  2. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 19, 2012 -> 07:46 PM) Eddy Curry was my favorite Bull between Jordan and Rose. Not kidding. He could score at will. It's a shame everything single thing besides that about him sucks. How the hell did you ever like that guy?
  3. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jan 19, 2012 -> 09:36 PM) Every time something like this comes out, I fear Alexei is really like 32 and Viciedo is like 26. Although Viciedo actually looks baby-faced. Alexei.....not so much. What if Alexei was really Dayan and Dayan, Alexei?
  4. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jan 19, 2012 -> 09:33 PM) Im surprised people have Barry Sanders above Payton. In terms of making highlights Sanders was number one but he also I think has the most negative rushes too in the history of the NFL or is up there at the very least. Walter Payton is the 2nd best RB of all time imo behind Jim Brown. Gale Sayers was more talented but his career was too short to put him on best ever list. But yes, being arguably the 2nd best RB in the NFL (some would have him a few spots lower) doesn't make you better than the best NBA player of all time, even if you put Wilt in front of Jordan that makes him 2nd best NBA player of all time while Payton is at best 2nd in just his position. Barry averaged .6 more yards per carry than Walter.
  5. The over-sensitivity in our society is out of control.
  6. This thread is all kinds of suck.
  7. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 19, 2012 -> 03:14 PM) Not many non-Bears fans would ever say that. Hell this thread will be loaded with bears fans and I bet not one believes that walter is the best ever...
  8. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 19, 2012 -> 03:07 PM) Have you ever seen Jordan dominate? This is dumb. Everyone can have their own opinion. You have yours. I'll take Jordan given he's universally accepted as the best to ever play his sport. Opinions can be wrong and his is wrong. Jordan is the best player ever to play his sport, walter is not, the end.
  9. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 19, 2012 -> 02:14 PM) Basically, it takes as many things going right this year as went wrong last year. Exactly.
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 19, 2012 -> 01:39 PM) Really? Unless you're drinkin' the same s*** Hawk does every year, there's little to no chance of this being a solid team. And what the hell purpose would Edwin Jackson serve for the future? There's definitely a chance this team can be solid. I don't think it's going to happen but it's certainly possible.
  11. What a fun night capped off by heads hitting a half court buzzer beater for a w.
  12. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 18, 2012 -> 09:36 PM) Wizards beat the Thunder. #areyouseriousbro #WWWYKI
  13. Funness at the Uconn-Cinci game too. College bball is amazing.
  14. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 18, 2012 -> 03:33 PM) Mountain West may get as many as 4, though more likely 2-3. Big 12 has 3 clearly dominant teams all going (KU, Bay, Mizzou). Then there is a group of 4, vying for anywhere from 2-4 spots: KSU, ISU, Texas, Okla. Then the remaining three (OSU, A&M, Tech) are just not going anywhere. The mwc can get 4 but most likely 3, the a10 can possibly get 4,the wcc can get 3 but definitely 2, the valley is going to get 2, cusa will probably get 2 and that's not even talking about 1 bid leagues with possible bid stealers if a murray state or a harvard for example slipped up. Lots of bids for the mid majors...
  15. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 18, 2012 -> 02:24 PM) The Big Ten is far and away the best conference this year. The Big East isn't even close. Depends how you look at things. The b10 is the deepest conference but as I said earlier it wouldn't shock me if they only have 1 team make it passed the first weekend. As for bids, NW and minn definitely have a shot though I would be pretty surprised if the gophers get in. The acc is getting 4. The pac 12 will get at least 2 one way or another It should be interesting though cause the mid majors should be getting a good number of bids this year.
  16. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Jan 17, 2012 -> 11:59 AM) This is what gets me the most............The niners have won with essentially the exact formula that took the Bears to the Superbowl in 2005 and NFC Championship last year.........yet, most Bears fans haven't given the Niners a chance with anything.....I really am surprised how Bears fans of all people can't see how the formula the 49ers have had can in fact win you games and take you to a Superbowl. I'm also pretty sure when the Bears were doing well in '05 and last year, most people had the attitude that the Bears could easily win it all....... 06 yes, not a lot of people thought of the Bears as a legit sb winning team last year.
  17. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 17, 2012 -> 12:30 PM) Evan Bourne is about to be banished to Paul London-ville. That is 2 violations in 6 months. Way to screw up your push The first violation iirc was something stupid and somewhat of a mistake, still extremely dumb of Bourne here.
  18. QUOTE (danman31 @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 09:24 PM) Ha don't doubt Baylor. So freaking long and talented. Playing in Kansas is brutal, but I'm still confident that Baylor is the better team. Baylor lost to phog allen tonight, still no doubt in my mind that they're better than kansas.
  19. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 09:55 PM) Yes it would.....................on another note the Jericho walking out on the match and the return s*** is growing old quick! I love it, it serves its purpose. I thought raw was great tonight.
  20. Too lazy to find the recruiting thread so ill put it here: the best sporting events today and yesterday have been hs bball games, ridiculously entertaining.
  21. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 11:39 AM) Its hard to tell. If its just pain tolerance, he might as well suit up and see how it feels. If it could get worse or reinjured, probably safest to sit him today. There's literally 0 reason for him to play. None whatsoever.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 15, 2012 -> 07:37 PM) Big Bang Theory maybe in the category with Seinfeld and Scrubs that when I see it on in syndication, I always finish an episode. And also, it is still quietly one of my favorite shows on the air and is always quality to me. I absolutely love the Big Bang Theory.
  23. If anything can we talk about how great of a punter Tom Brady is?
  24. Have I ever mentioned that I'm awesome?
