QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 29, 2011 -> 03:09 PM) The world will have come to an end in that scenario, so it wouldn't matter. Now I'm scared.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 29, 2011 -> 03:01 PM) It may also remain the same. So it will either get better, stay the same, or get worse. I've added so much to this discussion. But what if none of those happen? Then what?

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 28, 2011 -> 05:37 PM) Not sure why all the Boston hate and putting them on Vancouver's level. I know we hate the Red Sox and their fans, but this is hockey...there's no "Bruins nation" BS...not a lot of irritating players at all...original 6 team as well...much easier pick than Vancouver. Can't stand Boston, period.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 29, 2011 -> 11:01 AM) He's a backup at this point, though. 2004 was a long time ago. He's never had great range. Doesn't offer defense or any playmaking ability. Not a good fit as a starter on this team. You guys are crazy.

QUOTE (chw42 @ May 29, 2011 -> 11:09 AM) He better be coming off the bench. This team needs something more than an old Rip Hamilton. If we find someone else than fine but old or not the guy still averaged 14 points a game last year while shooting 38 percent from 3. If he's healthy he'd be a fine fit for this team.

So we're saying that giving up 6 earned runs is just fine now a days? Please, I don't care how they were given up, that's a bad start no matter how you look at it.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 27, 2011 -> 11:40 PM) I have to root for Boston I guess. Yuck, yuck, yuck. It's a shame either of these teams gets to win, but thankfully at least I get to see one of them get their hearts broken. Ideally Vancouver, as it's the lesser of the 2 evils. Great game tonight though, there is nothing like game 7 in hockey. Can they let Dirk try to win the Stanley Cup too? All these teams can go to hell.

QUOTE (chw42 @ May 27, 2011 -> 01:02 PM) What's the chance the Bulls take him, develop him as a PG and let Rose run more like a SG on offense? Because Shumpert obviously has the size to guard 2s. That's a bad idea.

6 man rotation
QUOTE (iamshack @ May 27, 2011 -> 09:31 AM) Come on, dude...this is not about Jackson versus Hudson. This is about Humber. For all those that are upset about Hudson's departure, at least we have found another cheap effective arm to replace him. Now let's not screw it up by moving him to the pen. He's not talking about Jackson versus Hudson. We're talking about Jackson vs. Humber.

6 man rotation
If anything, his insane whip shows that's he's not doing this with smoke and mirrors. The guy has just been freakin fantastic so far. Do I expect him to keep going like this? Hell no. But to put your best starter in the bullpen because he makes the least amount of money(and lets be honest that's the ONLY reason he'd be going to the pen) is the sign of a terrible decision making organization. This shouldn't be too difficult of a decision at this point, Edwin needs to be the one going to the pen. If we're going to complain about Humber's track record we can certainly do the same thing about Edwin's.

QUOTE (IamtheHBOMB @ May 26, 2011 -> 11:02 PM) What? He's twenty-f***ing-two years old. The guy has steadily improved in every aspect of the game since entering the league. Why is it out of the realm of possibility for him to improve his poise/composure in high pressure games going forward? Step back off the ledge. Like I said, I'm sure he will improve in that aspect and every other aspect of his game. My point is that I refuse to give him a pass because of his age in this situation. I really don't care that he's 22, he was downright pathetic down the stretch of these games, period.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:58 PM) At 14 years old it hurts worse I think. I am completely devastated right now. If I didn't have a job interview in the morning I'd probably have to drink heavily. Definitely went through my head to call off work tomorrow. On a side note, I'm already confusing our posts because of the avy's.

QUOTE (chw42 @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:55 PM) Really? I felt a lot worse when the Sox looked like they blew it in 08. I was so down those couple of days. No matter what, that 08 team never stood a chance to win a World Series imo, nor did I have as much fun watching them through out the season as I did this Bulls team. As far as professional sports go, this Bulls team was the most fun I've had watching one of my teams outside the 05 White Sox. I f***in loved this team and now I'm just absolutely devastated.

QUOTE (IamtheHBOMB @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:43 PM) You don't think this will ultimately make Derrick a better player? You know this series will motivate him to work like a fiend in the offseason. Rowand, believe me, I hate the f*** out of LeBron and company. Fortunately, I can take solace in the fact that Bulls fans have yet to see his best. I'm sure he's going to improve but that has nothing to do with this. If he had a bad series, fine, but the way he literally s*** his pants down the stretch in the last 4 games whether he's 22 or 35 or 55 was just pathetic. He was f***in horrendous.

QUOTE (Brian @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:52 PM) It seems like nobody is giving Dallas a chance. I don't get that. They have a better offensive supporting cast than we do and play good enough defense. I think it will be a fun series. They don't stand a chance unfortunately.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:34 PM) ESPN just sucking off Lebron and Company. I can't stand Miami and I especially can't stand LeBron but what the f*** do you expect? That asshole was f***in insane this series, unfortunately he deserves all the credit he's going to get. Hopefully someone on Dallas literally punches him in the mouth though. He was awesome while our superstar grew girl parts.
