I wish I could just have a pizza for thanksgiving. Not that big of a fan at all.

FSU beats Florida USC loses to Notre Dame Texas loses to A&M Oklahoma loses to Oklahoma State Then Texas Tech beats Mizzou in the Big 12 title game Florida beats Bama in the SEC title game Hey, it can happen. Alright, get Utah into the title game now. -

QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Nov 23, 2008 -> 07:35 PM) But, but, every team in the SEC can compete on a NFL level. I thought that was the acc Speaking of, you want to explain to me all the scenarios there in the acc, chimpy? Quite confusing. -

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Nov 23, 2008 -> 07:24 PM) Um, this crisis can be simply averted. As long as Bama loses, your National Championship is Utah vs. Ball State. Where's my money? On a side note, I wonder what kind of ratings that game would get if it was for all the marbles? Cause it'd be intriguing, that's for damn sure. Three team tourny between Utah, Boise and Ball State? -

So Texas is 2 in the BCS. Apparently one of the computers has Utah as number 2, that's very interesting. Going to be quite the mess as usual. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 23, 2008 -> 03:22 PM) Thought they got rid of that a few years ago after teams started running up scores. It's not in the computers but what Dan is saying that the pollsters look at the margin of victories and thus that effects the BCS. -
I'm pretty sure someone from this site had this idea before but how about just putting some of these pit bulls in a room with Michael Vick. That works for me.

QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Nov 21, 2008 -> 08:08 PM) I know this sounds cruel on my part, but in the end it was just dogs. Idonno how I feel about people doing serious jail time because of animals, which if he wasnt a superstar probably would be in jail for a much longer time. Unbelievable.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Nov 22, 2008 -> 10:47 PM) as much as id like to not see a big east team get an automatic bid...i believe Cincinnati clinched a BCS berth tonight...so id pencil them in ahead of ohio state probably... They still have to play 'Cuse so they haven't clinched it just yet. -

QUOTE (Shadows @ Nov 22, 2008 -> 10:38 PM) If the season ends with a 3 way tie, the team with the highest BCS ranking goes to the B12 Title Game.. and like I already said earlier, I see no way that OU doesn't jump Texas in the BCS after this.. plus they get Ok St next game who is also ranked pretty high and will only push their ranking higher Right when I saw your first post I remembered that tie breaker. Gracias for clearing that up. -

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Nov 22, 2008 -> 10:28 PM) I think the best two teams are Florida and Oklahoma...unfortunately, we'll never get to see that game. I'd actually say there is a pretty decent chance we do see that game. I'm not sure what the tie breaking scenarios are that make OU win the big 12 South over UT but the reason the Long Horns wouldn't get in because of their win over OU is because of the fact there is a 3 way tie right now, not just UT and OU. -

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Nov 20, 2008 -> 11:24 AM) People just bring it up because he's in a contract year and don't think he'll resign. Rose and Gordon are the only guys worth keeping on this team. That's just plain bull. People have been talking about that issue with Ben since we drafted him. And I really can't wait 'til Ben is long gone off this squad.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 04:23 PM) Victorino is a solid ballplayer, but he probably has more value to the 2009 Sox than any other team in baseball. He fits like 4 needs. If it takes an overpay, so be it. In this rare case, it probably would be worth it. That about sums it up.

QUOTE (jenks45monster @ Nov 17, 2008 -> 03:29 PM) I honestly believe we can put a competitive team out there by 2011 via our farm. We hear this almost every year it seems now. At the end of 07, the immediate future of this club just looked absolutely horrendous. All the sudden we have two of the best building blocks in all of baseball(CQ and Danks) and a few other guys that should contribute for a long time with in this organization. Kenny usually finds a way to put a competitive team out there and I'm sure he'll continue to do so.
