Your one stop shop for rumors
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 5, 2007 -> 01:14 PM) I'd absolutely love Orlando Hudson, he's the best defensive secondbaseman in the game, will only be 30 next year, has good contact, decent power, pretty good speed and good plate discipline. I don't know what the hell they'd want for him but I could definitely see KW being interested in the O-Dog. Agreed on Mr. Hudson, I've always been a fan. I must admit that Michael Bourn intrigues me. I don't know a ton about him but just looking at his stats, he's very interesting. Seems like he has a solid batting eye and he can definitely steal a base. Any idea how high the Phillies are on this guy? Is he a possible Rowand replacement for them?

White Sox vs. Orioles, 7/05/07 (W)
Hopefully Danks is back from his slump he was going through. It'd be nice if he could string together a few good starts in a row.

2007 White Sox Catch-All Thread
QUOTE(BearSox @ Jul 5, 2007 -> 12:58 AM) He has potential to be as good as Crede is/was at 3B. Nah, he can be an above average 3b one of these days, but he wont be Joe defensively.

Is there a possibility that Contreras is having arm problems?
QUOTE(southsida86 @ Jul 4, 2007 -> 11:56 PM) Come on, you think that pitchers lose 8-10 mph over a years time just from aging? I find that hard to believe. His velocity was starting to decrease a bit last season after his injury. He's just old and you're probably right, he most likely isn't 100 percent but he probably wont be ever again.

Buehrle Fest
This is so f***in retarded. Give him the f***in no trade clause god damn it. That felt good.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jul 4, 2007 -> 10:56 PM) The World(ie. WWE) needs Chris Jericho to come back. He makes things a hell of a lot more fun. You put Jericho and The Rock together and you get pure gold, everytime.

Draft signings
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jul 4, 2007 -> 09:45 PM) We have over a month remaining to sign him. I'm not worried, yet. Although it would be ridiculous to draft Grffith out of the second round and not consider signing him. Haven't we argued this issue millions of times concerning the need to inject talent into the organization? As I recall, it was the selection of Griffith which made numerous members overlook the passing of Porcello. Even if he doesn't do one thing in the majors, that's no different than previous second round choices other than the likeliholod Griffith has more upside. Oh I'm not panicking because he hasn't signed yet, I just get the feeling that he wont. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 4, 2007 -> 09:59 PM) Thank you, Facebook. Facebook still sucks.

Draft signings
I'll bet he wont.

Official 2006-2007 NBA Discussion Thread
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jul 4, 2007 -> 05:08 PM) Are you kidding? Gasol had a PER (Player Efficiency Rating) of 24.1 last year, which is well above anybody on the Bulls roster. Oh man, don't tell me money ball is in basketball now.

White Sox vs. Orioles, 7/04/07 (L)
QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 4, 2007 -> 07:29 PM) KW said that he won't make any other moves until the Buehrle situation is resolved. When did he say that?

White Sox vs. Orioles, 7/04/07 (L)
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jul 4, 2007 -> 07:11 PM) I've really become irritated with this lull in activity. Does it really take an additional four days to negotiate a NTC? All parties know now by now their position. Tomorrow should be the limit with this Buehrle situation. Either trade him or sign him. Enough of this. If Contreras' removal is entirely dependent upon Buehrle, more the reason to speed everything up. The Buehrle situation while incredibley frusterating doesn't need to be rushed. Trading JC should have been down like a month ago though, he's killing his trade value.

White Sox Winner!
QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 4, 2007 -> 04:27 PM) If called up, can he be sent back down if need be. Why all the hating on Masset for starting? If I remember, he did ok last time. Yes. People are just excited about Floyd more so than hating on Masset. We're all curious to see Gavin pitch.

KW Speaks about Buehrle's NTC
QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 3, 2007 -> 11:12 PM) No clue...all I know is that they have very little in terms of prospects. We'll just take Cole Hamels off their hands.

SSR: Unkind Words For Sox Management
Another thing that I forgot to add: When you were talking about who the Sox 5th starter would be if the Vazquez deal was never made, you guys mentioned that it'd probably be Gavin. Thing is, most likely Gavin would have never been here if not for the Vaz trade in the first place.

White Sox Winner!

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jul 3, 2007 -> 09:39 PM) indeed I am now a Havy Jomer I told ya that Brandon would be better than Javy this season. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 3, 2007 -> 09:38 PM) Any confirmation of who's starting on Friday? The Trib said it could be Floyd. That would be the first must see game for me in a while.

White Sox vs. Orioles, 7/03/07 (W)
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 3, 2007 -> 09:34 PM) He retired the final 16 batters he faced and lowered his ERA to 3.70 today. That'll work. Our top 3 starters have really been ridiculous this season. Pretty sad when you consider the season the team as a whole is having.
