White Sox winner
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 10:51 PM) Watching ESPNEWS, the Sox highlights came on, and the anchor was talking about how bad the Sox offense was, but how "this kid Andy Gonzalez" could be the answer for the Sox. Well Phew, thank god for Andy the Messiah. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 11:39 PM) Um, sir, I am unsure who this Jerome Robertson is. Jeriome Robertson, perhaps? And who really spells their name - pronounced jur-ohm - like it's pronounced jare-ee-ohm? I mean, talk about a completely useless and meaningless letter in a name. Sheesh. Oh yeah, and Danks rawkZ My High School physics teacher played minor league ball with Jeriome. What that has to do with anything I don't know, but I thought I'd share since I'm sure all of you guys wanted to know that awesome fact.

Mets Interested in Contreras?
If the Mets offer anything close to a top propsect than the Sox absolutely have to jump on that deal to shed themselves of Jose's contract. I'm with Kalapse though, we're not getting much more than a B or maybe 2 B level prospects for JC.

Chris Benoit...
Wow, this is really sad.

White Sox vs. Devil Rays, 6/25/07 (W)
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 05:59 PM) I have doubts as to whether Buehrle is around. I think Dye sticks around a while longer as teams are going to want to see him healthy before they are willing to give up what Kenny wants (otherwise you are best Dl'ing him, letting him get healthy in order to make sure he can play late this year and be 100% over the off-season. Than take your two draft picks for him as he will likely go to a team picking in the lower portion of the draft (ie >15). I just got a hunch that if Buehrle is traded it wont be until late July. Obviously I could be wrong but I'll guess that he's around for at least a few more starts.

White Sox vs. Devil Rays, 6/25/07 (W)
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 05:55 PM) I think it's 50/50 if Buehrle is still a member of our team by the time he is scheduled to start next. He'll still be around.

Which prospect would you want to see play in the majors the most?
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 04:57 PM) I'm really starting to get impatient. All these rumors, a few guys in AAA who should be up in the MLB, but nothing is happening. It's still June. We'd all love for something to happen right now but Kenny isn't going to rush into a deal.

Predictions
I'll just say 2-3 players at most get traded. Not sure which ones, but I certainly don't expect anymore than 3 of our guys to be traded.

Which prospect would you want to see play in the majors the most?
Gavin excites me more than any prospect in a long time. That obviously doesn't mean crap but I'm definitely intrigued.

Mets Interested in Buehrle?
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 02:22 PM) I would not trade Mark Buehrle straight up for Robinson Cano. I like Cano but that'd be an awful trade.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 06:52 PM) I had forgiven a debt... I think I am reinstating it and charging back interest now. LOL, I haven't seen you at a game in forever, if you want to give me a mailing address, I'd send you a check in a heartbeat.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 06:45 PM) has been a prick towards guys like Frank Thomas, Cause Frank did nothing to warrant it, whatever. And this years team has quit, I'm sorry but everyone knows it, it's not a very good club to begin with but they've definitely thrown in the towel. I AM an immature asshole when it comes to sports, so this years team can indeed go to hell.

Red Sox Interested in Buehrle?
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 05:04 PM) Nothing has been posted on Sons of Sam Horn about any of this. Just the usual speculative chatter. Yup.

Red Sox Interested in Buehrle?
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:58 PM) Lets just say for the sake of argument that the Red Sox were given a 72 hour window to sign Buehrle to an extension. The Sox best be getting Bucholtz and a couple more major pieces back if this is the case. I don't buy it for a second but if it is true then I expect a King's Ransom of top flight talent to be on its way to Chicago right about now. Ya, I'm calling BS on this one. Even though that guy on WSI is a fairly regular contributor, none of the Bosox forums have picked up on it.

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:21 PM) I hope they do not win another game the rest of the year and the park is empty for home games. Mgnt f***ed this season up. I'd have no problem with them losing every game the rest of the season, but I'd prefer a sold out ballpark.

QUOTE(danman31 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:17 PM) Go to hell White Sox. I said that a long time ago. I hope they keep losing, I'm fine with the result of this series.

Red Sox Interested in Buehrle?
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 10:23 AM) Buehrle on the Red Sox would make me vomit. Ditto, but if we're set on trading him and Boston has the best package to offer then that's what you have to do.

White Sox Loser
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jun 23, 2007 -> 11:06 PM) Aaron Rowand isn't going to solve the problems, which is what the poster was suggesting. Aaron Rowand would solve everything and you know it.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 23, 2007 -> 03:45 PM) This is on KW, and solely on KW. As was the World Series.
