  1. I thought the 8th and 9th were the umps call.
  2. From reading all if these you would have thought that it was bases loaded and no one out. I looked online and he allowed one base runner
  3. As the saying goes beat the bad teams ay 500 against the good ones. That's what they are doing. By the playoffs they will have at least Jimenez back and most likely Robert back to help the offense and power .
  4. Common for sprinters as they need speed from the pushers.
  5. The only one I know is Lolo Jones.
  6. What a great story for a great person.
  7. Kids of professional athletes normally are. They are used to the environment.
  8. ptatc replied to zisk's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Agreed. Not to mention he is still fairly new to the MLB with a total of 212 at bats. It is possible for young ayers to learn and he may get better against LHP. He is too young for a strict platoon role.
  9. If it was to back of the hand then it will shorter healing time.
  10. Ouch. Was there blood? That's a good week to heal if it was a opened up.
  11. What happened to Moncada? I missed the game. And the announcement.
  12. I agree, this will be the end result.
  13. Under the table yes, legally no.
  14. Do the schools get a cut of the students income? The university would be a significant reason that their image is worth anything. As with everything this is just going to make the , wealthier school more dominant as the can promote the "student" more.
  15. I know we disagree on this but it all needs to be weighed against how much of the future they need to sacrifice to make the playoffs this year. If it looks like they can squeak by while Jimenez, Robert and kopech return, I'm all for not trading significant players for this year. This should not be a one and done rebuild. The whole plan of the 5 year rebuild was to have a consistent winning team to have many shots at the playoffs.
  16. Always liked Kari Wuhrer back in the day.
  17. I'm sure he would. I somehow don't think he will be out 100% of the time. Call me crazy but I just don't think that will happen.
  18. He already is out 65% of the time. How is doing something he is used to going to shut him up? Nothing will shut him up he has been this way his entire career.
  19. We had the highest temperature ever in Eugene for the Olympic trials. Had to delay some races 5 hours.
  20. At least it's not a hamstring for Lamb.
  21. Exactly. So they really don't act like a big market team.
  22. What is the difference between a big market team and a small market team other than budget?
  23. Bone bruises and edema can be tricky sometimes. More often than not they are very short term but this he is a Sox player this year and abolute worst case scenarios are the norm.
  24. Doesn't mean it won't cause issues when someone is sprinting to first base and overly extends to the bag. Not saying it will cause issues but it needs to be a concern if you are trading for said player.
