I've been one of those that believed Wright would come through if he just got a fair chance to prove himself. He got it. He didn't come through. It's time to figure who can be our fifth starter and put Wright in whatever slot he can fill, even if it's AAA.

Perhaps it was the way you worded it, but just asking that question is inflammatory. My previous post was not so much an accusation of you as it was my trying to express to you that we (Americans) are not proud of what happened and, in fact, it goes against everything we believe in. You may be right. That's what we are trying to find out. I hope they give him a legitimate shot at it though. It would be a shame to "waste" a potentially good starter.

Jose is just a good solid baseball player. He's above average defensively, regardless of his occasional lapses. He's the only LH power we have, and therefore is very important to this team. He's a good baserunner. He doesn't make stupid mistakes on the pads or in the field. He also has a knack for coming through in the clutch. We are a better team with Valentin, than without him.

Speaking of Ex-Twins, I read that the Giants are hot happy at all with our old nemisis, A J Pierkjhgjski. He's been called lazy, a cancer ... and spends too much time watching Twins games! Can you believe it? What a moron.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why so many people want to dump Valentin. He's one of the key players on this team and if you don't see it you're blind. And especially when you are talking about keeping Dransfeldt up in his place. KD is a career .235 hitter in AAA !!!!!! Willie Harris hasn't produced like we need him to do, but it is still too early to give up on him. However, Uribe has earned the opportunity to play more regularly, whether it is at 2B, SS, 3B or CF. He should be in 80% of the games when we are facing RH starters.

Just one more great year from Frank would secure his place in the HOF. Personally, I think he's a lock right now, but some seem to have doubts. Another MVP season would erase those doubts.

I find it ironic that they have a southside vendor selling "garbage" when the northsiders just litter the field with theirs.
