Guillen wants Ordonez to stay
If we move Konerko we can keep both Maggs and Lee.

RUMOR
I think Mr. Hendry actually has other ideas this off season. I expect them to actually go for it.

Goose Creek SC School
That's a bit drastic. But, I bet there won't be many drugs taken into that school for a while.

slowly approaching the 4 digit mark
958 and counting.

Schilling
Schilling is the type of guy that has a brain and is not afraid to speak his mind. Which is precisely the type of player JR hates to have on his team. See Carlton Fisk for another example.

Olivo on All-Rookie team
I agree with you. I think Miggy will eventually develope into a damn good all around ballplayer .... about the time he becomes FA eligible.

RUMOR
I speculated about the Cubs signing Keith weeks ago. It just seemed like a damn good fit to me.

Void in the Outfield
I'd like Mike Cameron. But realistically speaking, I think ARow deserves a shot.

if we trade magglio
No. Actually, he is just a Red Sox lover. But since what the Yankees do affects the Red Sox ........ so on and so forth.

Alphabet boy to San Fran
What does a semi-colon have to do with a wink? It kinda sorta resembles it. Just like the B with a ) kinda resembles someone wearing shades. Therefore B plus ) = B)

Another Phil Rogers Article
Has anything been mentioned by the Sox about the Sox trading Lee? I know the Dodgers want him, but that doesn't mean we'll deal him.

yankees turn attention
There is so much posturing done by GM's in the press these days. Cashman says he's going another direction when the DBacks asked for Soriano and Johnson. That may just be an attempt to force 'Zona to reconsider an offer Cashman has made.

interesting Gammons story
.....Or pretty out of date.

Just come out and say it like a man
Rex, look at it this way. Your local restaurant puts out mediocre quality food and you to it once every two weeks to get out of the house. Yet, in a conversation with the owner, he tells that if more people would come twice a week, he'd put out much better quality food. In other words, you can't expect your customers to get excited about mediocrity and come out in droves to fork over their hard earned bucks. Put the damn product on the field that they want to see, and they will come out. JR expressed disappointment in the attendance for the last half of the 2000 season. Did he really think that the fans believed they had a team with a legitimate shot to win it all? I didn't believe it. Hoped for it, yes. But I knew that pitching staff wasn't going to get it done. Then the next year, we got out of the gate like a bunch of slugs, so that killed any carry over effect from 2000. He's got to put a team out there that fans look at it and say "Yes, this team can do it." Then they have to play up to their potential. Until he does that, it's going to be the same old stuff on the southside.

Are we rebuilding?
We are "going for it" this year. The "it" being an early draft choice.

Say What You Want Bout Mariotti...
If the Sox get rid of Maggs, and even the fact that they are thinking about it, they deserve to have many articles written that rips them to shreds.
-
Bye, Bye Robbie?
I can't see the Yankees settling for Robbie at 2B either.
-
Sox may pursue Fred Garcia
Konerko & Cotts for Garcia would be insane. Garcia is not that good anymore.
-
Why everyone so high on
Something drastic will occur. Rauch will attend spring training healkthy and will win that 5th starter spot.

Once Again Sorry

Just come out and say it like a man
Mariotti, for once, was right on the money with that article. I had accepted the fact that JR was going to hold payroll to 55 or 60 million dollars. Why!? Why should I accept that? Why should I continue to be disappointed by the cheapskate mentality of a guy who owns a team in a major market, but markets the team like it's playing in BFE? There is no excuse for him not putting an $80 million payroll on the field in the city of Chicago. None. Period.

Little Article
He wouldn't be able to decide which tinker to tink.

If we can't afford a $70 M payroll then...
What a concept!

Sox prepared to trade Maggs
That sounds like a viable alternative to me.
