Let me again point out that Count will miss TWO STARTS if indeed this 15 day trip to the DL is actually 15 days, and he would be eligible to start on May 20th (Saturday) against the Cubs, a day that his spot in the rotation comes up anyways. If this is more than 15 days, you can hit the red button, but if this is just precautionary to give him a couple weeks to get a bit of rest and get to 100 percent, it's no big deal. I know nobody will listen to a voice of reason, but I figured I'd try .

I'm sure this is retro to his last start (May 4th), which I believe would mean he would be eligible to come off the DL Saturday, April 20th, which was a day he was scheduled to pitch against the Cubs on. So hopefully this injury isn't too big a deal and we see him then! If that were the case, he'd also only miss 2 starts.

Why the hell are we starting some knuckleballer with no experience rather than B-Mac, especially with today being a day off?!?

Yeah, it'll be like 50 or 60 drunks that will become violent and get arrested or something. Should be great publicity.

Detroit won't fade, but if we win 95-100 games again this year, they won't keep up with that pace. The Tigers are good, but more like upper 80's to maybe around 90 wins good IMO.

Watching the game, and I'm reminded yet again why IMO Anderson is a far superior fielder. On a ball that Anderson jogs in and catches, Rowand freezes for almost a full second, but as a result of that it ends up being a spectacular looking diving catch. That play will be on sportscenter, but should have been a very easy catch and would be for Anderson, and shows why both Anderson is the better fielder, but also why not many will agree with me since to the typical fan it's just a great diving catch by Rowand.

Not a surprise, even against the Royals. We have always had great walk ups when the weather is decent, especially on weekends, and with the season ticket base like it is now, we should see a lot of sellouts and close to sellouts this year.
