Yea, his upside is avg regular at best. Half the time he just slots in as a good utility guy. Given the depth in the org it was an OK trade. We just won't know for 3-5 years how it looks.

Realistically we're two SP short and at least one middle innings guy short. There's no way we should give up top prospects when we're that far away. It is what it is. The SP is smoke and mirrors and guys are tiring. The offense frankly did enough to win last night and that rangers game. The SP not being able to get out of the 3rd or 4th inning caused those loses. You can say Will pushed the wrong button but there isn't an ideal button to press when the starter is gassed and can't find the zone before the 4th.

this pitching staff is garbage. what an awful game. it's not just on the pen, starters going 3-4 innings, just won't work.
