  1. Not sure if low IQ but certainly a huge redass.
  2. I think this thing can go to 15, maybe even 20.
  3. Blame ESPN for not updating the standings quick enough. But thanks, we're even worse.
  4. Sox move to 15-44 with a -135 RD. They have scored the last runs MLB and given up the 2nd worst, only Rockies worse. They are back on pace to set both the all time loss record and the all time RD record. We also have now lost 10 in a row.
  5. We're currently at 10. Still plenty of time to get a 15 or even 20 game losing streak going.
  6. He has 4 pitches and they all seem to suck. Command as you said is also not good. Not much path to success with mediocre stuff and bad command.
  7. only took the dumbfuck manager 1/3 the season to realize who his better hitters are.
  8. I've watched 80% of the innings, most of them with the sound up. He's bad. Like most bad things in baseball he gets worse with the grind of an almost every night season.
  9. You serious? He has no idea what he's watching. He doesn't understand anything about baseball. He frequently loses track of the outs, who is on what base, what constitutes a good play, a bad play, a dumb play -- he has no idea. He's awful. The only thing he's good at is sucking up to Stone. Which has been a requirement on this job ever since Hawk left. Jason humored him but had enough of his own gravitas not to engage when Stone would get pissy. John does not.
  10. As I said in the other thread someone close to him needs to intervene. It will get ugly for him if he refuses to acknowledge the overwhelming truth around this team and this season in particular.
  11. A lot of the show is like that. Arrested Development. A bit dated now but still hilarious and has given some of the best pop culture lines ("it's a single banana michael, how much could it cost, 10 dollars?") of the last 20 years from comedy shows.
  12. John needs to be careful and someone in his corner should step in or it's going to get really ugly. He needs to start at least greeting the 600lb gorilla that greets him from the press box every night that is the Sox' historical ineptitude.
  13. You could make an argument this team's level is more AAA or maybe Japan. They are on pace to finish with below replacement fWAR by a good 10-15 wins on the position player side. Sure Robert might help a bit, but you gotta be a special kinda dumb, even coming off a bad season, to produce that sort of smoking crater of a lineup.
  14. He's lucky for the headlines pitchers no longer bat.
  15. I said I was going to put a lot of the games on regardless but I might be reconsidering. The reality of having perhaps the worst team of all time on a nightly basis has hit hard.
  16. Come on boys that worst RD of all time ain't gone get there by itself!
  17. Lotta bleeders through the hole. But Sox pitching has helped it along with wildness.
  18. maybe tell lopez he has to be on the bag to make the tag more often than not.
