QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 03:28 PM) They are running season 3 right now on AMC on Thursdays after midnite. I think they are on the second or third episode. Yeah, I plan on just watching them in a marathon.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 02:51 PM) It appears I'm the only one who has no idea who this person is, and what it has to do with the number 6. Nope, I don't know either.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 02:17 PM) Nothing has indicated scenario #2 is it Just from reading what other people have to say about the show, it seems that every woman on the show has been eliminated as a possibility through something else.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 01:23 PM) I've been saying it since she wasn't the mother since they met and I thought it was obvious to everyone but I saw people speculating here and elsewhere that she was the mother despite the fact they said in the season premiere that he meets the mother at a wedding. I've never watched this show, so forgive me if I'm way off, but is it possible that they're purposely misleading you? The word "meet" can mean two separate things in this scenario. 1.) He met this woman for the first time at a wedding 2.) He already knew this woman, and agreed with her beforehand to meet her at the ceremony

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 01:26 PM) Thanks. I am watching the replays on AMC, so I am trying to figure out how much is left. Also, same question for Dexter.... What season is it in? Dexter has 5 seasons and the 6th season should probably start in the Summer or Fall. I just got done catching up with Breaking Bad seasons 1 and 2. I saw them before, but decided to catch up on the entire series again. I'm currently waiting for season 3 to be released on DVD so I can Netflix it. I'm pretty excited because I didn't watch a single episode of that season. EDIT: I'm also pretty sure that the next season of Dexter will be the last. It definitely should be.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 01:26 PM) Why is that? I know its one of the shortest commercial runways in america, but I always prefer it because its easier to navigate. I've never heard that either, and am very interested to know the reasoning.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 11:47 AM) I've read about statutory rape and other sexual assault allegations, on top of all of the other stuff. Any specific details? This could have been in high school or college with a girl who was a year or two younger than him.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 11:34 AM) So exactly how far along is Breaking Bad? Which season and what episode? The fourth season doesn't start until the Summer.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 11:23 AM) Mind-boggling All I've ever seen is the incident where he high-fived fans after hitting a big homer. The other thing with the fight is clearly started by the other team. I swear, people think Lastings Milledge = Delmon Young.

QUOTE (robinventura23 @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 08:44 AM) For some reason, I think Quentin is going to have huge, comeback year. Peavy will come back, but as dominant a pitcher he once was. Morel will thrive as the starting third baseman. Lastings Milledge will be the same, immature person he's always been and be released in Spring Training. Chris Sale will be the closer. Dunn will hit 46 HR, just shy of Belle's team record. Seriously, what the f***? Why does everyone think he's this piece of s*** scumbag?

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 08:09 AM) Or do the local thing and eat at Ricobene's, then walk to the game (if you can still walk after that). Grab some Phil's pizza (right down 35th from the park), but get drunk beforehand to really enjoy it to the fullest.

QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 07:16 PM) I would buy the cheapest ticket and let that determine which airport. However, I personally prefer Midway over O'Hare. If you can catch a flight on SW Airlines, that will probably end up being your cheapest option and land you in Midway anyway. Midway is definitely more convenient for me. I live about 10 minutes away from there, and it's definitely way closer to the park. It just usually seems that you'll find a cheaper flight with O'Hare because of the much higher volume there.

QUOTE (NIUSox @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 06:58 PM) We used to have a skunk that took up residence in a drain in our driveway. We got rid of it by using some of our own urine. That's right we peed in a cup and put it by the entrances and the skunk moved away.

QUOTE (juddling @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 06:34 PM) Maybe it's just me but the Twins are the AL Central winners and that makes them the team to beat. That said...it would be very nice to see the whole team grab that attitude and hold on. I'd like to play Minnesota and not be sick to my stomach with nerves the whole weekend. I haven't been sick to my stomach playing the Twins in a long time. I just expect them to lose (as does the team), and it just happens.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 05:53 PM) Sox fans aren't the meatheads that Bears fans can be. We can accept the truth. There's a difference in accepting the truth and just downright idolizing the competition.

QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 06:02 PM) pedicures are recommended for those with diabetes. Well, there's an obvious exception.

QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 03:36 PM) I hope you know who is with Chuck Tanner in that pic. Haha, yes.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 04:12 PM) link I think the line I bolded is the most important here. Morneau's brain is f*cked up and he might just be permanently damaged. Anyone thinking he'll be 100% anytime soon is certainly looking on the bright side of things. Even if he doesn't come back 100% physically, I don't think he's going to be there psychologically for a long time, if ever again.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 03:15 PM) People have been talking 10/300 for Pujols since ARoid signed his last deal. Y'all really are surprised at Pujols pushing for something on that order? QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 04:23 PM) When he has spent the past 2 years saying it was not about the money, yes I am kind of surprised. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 04:31 PM) If St. Louis hadn't offered something that even the people who wanted to call Pujols greedy were thinking was insulting, then we'd potentially have the chance to test that. You're sort of changing the argument. You say that we shouldn't be surprised that Pujols is asking for A-Rod money, but then you say that we can't be sure what he's asking for.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 03:39 PM) If you hold such stone age feelings as pedicures are super feminine and no man should get them, then yeah, either that or wake up... one of the two. I'm sure you're not going to admit it's feminine, but it is. There really isn't any arguing it.
-
QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 01:50 PM) Which ones don't you know ? Specifically the one that YASNY just pointed out. There was another one (maybe two) earlier in the thread, but I don't feel like going back

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 12:27 PM) Then the Cardinals should have traded him a year ago and made it clear exactly what his public demands were. Albert Pujols has every right to demand things both ways. It hurts the Cardinals a lot more than him if he walks. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 12:44 PM) From Feb. '09: "It's not about the money all the time," the first baseman said Sunday in Jupiter, Fla. "It's about being in a place to win and being in a position to win. "If the Cardinals are willing to do that and put a team (on the field) every year like they have, I'm going to try to work everything out to stay in this town. But if they're not bringing championship-caliber play every year, then it's time for me to go somewhere else that I can win." It doesn't sound like he's trying to work anything out to stay. I'm not saying he doesn't have a right to do whatever he wants, but it sure seems like he has changed his position some time in the past year. Yes.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 01:16 PM) A manicure sure is feminine, but getting your feet massaged certainly is not. It's not like they are applying f***ing nail polish. You need to grow up. Yeah, that's the problem.
-
Just clip your toenails and wash your damn feet. No need to do something as blatantly feminine as getting a manicure or pedicure.

You old guys gotta put the names of the players I don't know who any of them are.
