I remember on an episode of the Sopranos, Tony is watching an old gangster movie. I'm not sure what it is, but here is a rough description of the scene they show. It looks to be the final scene, but a mother is waiting for her son (a gangster) to return home. The doorbell rings and, when the door opens, the son is there seemingly wrapped in a sheet or gauze and probably dead. He falls into the doorway. Does anyone know which movie this is?

What the organization would do and what we would do is likely pretty different. Unless the team falls flat on its face, I don't see them trading him to replace him with Flowers. They've shown that they can be taken at their word, and I'd imagine with AJ taking a pay cut, that he was led to believe that he'd be on the team through the end of his contract. I also don't know how much other teams would pay for AJ with his reputation.

It's scary to see this taking a toll on so many teams. It makes you think that this economy, which we've been hoping would get better for years, is nowhere near a turnaround. This really is a bad time. I can hardly imagine what it was like during the Depression.

I don't agree with this whole "ignoring somebody is juvenile" argument. I have one person on ignore, and that's greg. There is honestly no reason to not have him on ignore. He brings nothing to the table but rambling, incoherent posts with no basis in reality or statistical evidence. He's Soxtalk's version of the insane homeless man on the corner yelling at everybody that passes by him. Do you ignore that person? Yes, we all do.
