That's more like it. Somewhere along the line, I passed you in levels. I'm not sure how that happened.

Dumbest comments on facebook
QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 12:40 PM) I never thought I would get into it but I actually have. I just hate the fact that you have to have XX number of people in your mafia to do certain things. I'm not the type to go out and friend 500 people I don't even know just to play that game. As of now, I'm stuck with just 19 mafia members. You're probably one of the people I attack constantly to level up quicker. You just need to friend them until they're in your mafia, then you de-friend them. QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 02:12 PM) Texsox and Steff are the best Mafia Wars peeps. I give you gifts all the time, ass. See if that keeps up.

What is it going to take for Buehrle to win the Cy Young Award this ye
At least there's no chance Bartolo Colon steals it this year.

MARK BUEHRLE PITCHES THE 18TH PERFECT GAME IN HISTORY
We're also tied for first, I believe.

BA wouldn't have had it
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:37 PM) I no longer disagree with keeping him over BA. I still disagree with it, but I love the guy now.

MARK BUEHRLE PITCHES THE 18TH PERFECT GAME IN HISTORY
QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 04:05 PM) Keep this list growing: *No Hitter *Perfect Game *Hit a Homerun *World Series Champion *Won a game in the World Series *Saved a game in the same World Series *Started an All-Star Game *3 Time All-star and growing. . . . . what else is there Sox fans: I believe the World Series save was the very next game after his starting win in the World Series. That makes it sound even more impressive. He also started all but one of the opening games since 2002, I think. The man has really had a storybook career to this point.

MARK BUEHRLE PITCHES THE 18TH PERFECT GAME IN HISTORY
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:18 PM) Should have been his 2nd perfect game to be honest. Agreed. From what I remember, that walk to Sosa was almost definitely not a walk. At the very least, it was extremely questionable.

Anderson would've had it
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:14 PM) Don't make promises you can't keep. But I think it's safe to say that BA is officially a ghost now. No, I will keep it. I will never say a bad word about him again (although I may say I want him off the team at some point, ha).

MARK BUEHRLE PITCHES THE 18TH PERFECT GAME IN HISTORY
This guy might've just earned himself a spot in the Hall of Fame with a few more seasons of winning. I love Mark Buehrle. I was driving back to work from a meeting at another location, but decided to stop at home on the way back to catch the final inning. So happy that I did. P.S. - I bumped my own thread to apologize to Wise.

Anderson would've had it
I swear on everything, I will never speak a bad word about Dewayne Wise again in my life. Ban me if I do. Please delete this thread.

Has Javy figured it out?
QUOTE (G&T @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 05:32 AM) Atlanta is 5.5 games out of first. We will see what happens if they are actually in contention down the stretch. Exactly. I fully expect him to collapse when any amount of pressure is applied.

I, for one, think BigEdWalsh is the coolest poster on this site.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Happy birthday, TheBigHurt. Very solid start by Torres. And you just saw our eventual new closer tonight. Trade Jenks while you can still get a pretty good haul for him because we have his replacement already.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 22, 2009 -> 08:02 AM) I was dragged to the Billy Joel/Elton John concert last night... but it was quite enjoyable. Dragged? I'd love to go to that.

Everything Erin Andrews
QUOTE (SuperSteve @ Jul 21, 2009 -> 09:48 PM) I personally really like her. Realness is a part of it. She's a normal girl pretty much. Plus I've seen her for how long on ESPN now. I'd rather see her naked than pretty much any of those porno chicks. But, would you rather see Erin Andrews just walking around topless or a porno chick getting ____ed by 3 or 4 ____s while ____ing her ____ with a ____?

Breaded Steak sandwich...
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 21, 2009 -> 04:24 PM) Well, the service is pretty good. Is it like directly across the street?

Oh, I thought you were talking about a restaurant.

Anderson would've had it
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 21, 2009 -> 04:06 PM) It was a slightly above average play that about 22-25 starting MLB centerfielders would/should also have made. Let's not overstate it. None of which are currently on the White Sox.

The Carlos Quentin Activated from DL
QUOTE (rangercal @ Jul 21, 2009 -> 02:05 PM) and you would be wrong. A healthy tcq is a top 10-20 player in all of baseball. Haha, well you can tell me when that happens, then. The guy puts in part of a season, and he's suddenly the best player on our team over guys who have consistently put in their time and produced.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 21, 2009 -> 03:26 PM) Put it on the ticket exchange here, or put it on stubhub. Even craigslist is an option for you. I bet you get a bunch of hits on craigslist immediately, just make sure you ask for cash only They were 80 bucks. How much do you think I should ask for?

QUOTE (Cali @ Jul 21, 2009 -> 01:27 PM) Couple thoughts on the Lollapalooza thing: 1. I Hate Festivals. The sound sucks, it's hot and sweaty. Give me indoor shows any day of the week. 2. When I do go, it's never for the discover new bands, experience thing. Not my bag. 3. I would never go to a festival unless there was already 5+ bands I want to see. Other wise it's a huge waste of money. If it's only one band (like Beastie Boys) I would juts wait till a headlining tour, where they will be playing indoors, with a full set, and where you won't be sun burnt, and tired from standing on your feet all day. Thank you. The f***ing Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I can't believe I have to tell my friends that that's who the replacement is. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 21, 2009 -> 01:31 PM) Then I better watch out walking in dark alleys. He may decide to pounce on me with a poorly fashioned cane. I'm slightly less angry now.
