Most posters here are convinced there are only "flukes" when good players actually rise above what many people thought they were capable of, and they are delusional a lot of the time. Aaron Rowand is certainly proof. People here often see nothing but negativity, even overlooking or underrating our own players. Crede is no God, but he's a gold glove caliber 3B.

Wait. Are people suggesting Fields and Crede stay on the team and Fields be the starter? Hilarious. I'd rather see Joe traded if Fields is going to be the future at 3B (this coming from a HUGE Crede fan). I sure as HELL don't want to see Fields in LF again. That drove me nuts.

Well, when you think about it, the Sox had few good prospects, so what are they going to do? The idea is to trade your prospects for great players, right? Isn't that what has been done? Realistically, what do many of you expect us to get in total for the 3 of those ultimately? Eventually you have to bite or else you get nothing, and that seems to be a constant with KW, so for me this was a pleasant surprise.

Anyone have Swisher's defensive stats from recently? I know he's a good hitter, but I know very little about his defensive ability.

I need to see a video of Konerko's slam from the WS. That gives me chills every time. Of course winning the WS was the best moment of the season, but for me Konerko's slam was the most exciting moment in my life as a Sox fan.

Yeah, Owens is so much better
