  1. QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Jan 17, 2009 -> 05:51 AM) Unless Im completely off here and I might be since Ive been drinking, but isnt Tillman a very solid tackler and Vasher pathetic in that regard. I have no mind with Tillman being a starting corner for the Bears, its just the defensive scheme that gets beat all the time. Vasher on the other hand was just really pathetic this last season and definitely needs a bounce back season next year or he done. I actually am a fan of Kevin Payne as well and think he will just improve more next season. I agree, Vasher is the brutal one, and Tillman is the better tackler. Tillman isnt as fast, but he makes up for it in instincts. It isnt even close really, vasher got benched this year for a reason, he was atrocious
  2. LOL, one of my employers major clients is Chevron, and I know for a fact that they dont use gmail as their email server. I like to email these guys back and tell them how dumb their scams are, every once in a while I get a funny reply
  3. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 10:35 PM) I've already mentioned my saving face and "promoting" VDN idea in the NBA thread. Needless to say it means Pax is gone. Come on, thats ridiculous. Reinsdorf isnt going to fire Pax and promote VDN to his position
  4. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Jan 16, 2009 -> 08:25 AM) Hmm... get that 5th starter and leadoff hitter we need? Doesn't seem all that complicated to me, but what do I know. I'm not a businessman, but all I know is that the payroll is way too high for what this team has to show for it. And BTW, it's not like I'm in a minority with my opinions at ALL. I will waive my magic wand and *poof*! There it is. You are right, that wasn't complicated at all
  5. I don't see how it is laughable at all. If Colon(and probably Garcia) doesn't work out, the kids are in anyways. Whats the problem with this? Its a small price to pay for a pitcher with a track record of pitching a lot of innings with pretty good results. This isn't signing Milton Bradley for 3 years, this isn't giving AJ Burnett for 5 years when he can only stay healthy for one, this is an insurance policy for the aptly named CR/AP experiment. If Richards and Poreda can take the 5th pitching slot, show it. If they cannot, bullpen or AAA for them. It doesn't really seem like the sox lose with a deal this cheap.
  6. Once Deng hit that last long bounce three lebron just looked like he didnt care anymore. He just dribbled down the floor, jacked a three that he missed and jogged back to defense LOL, the bulls announcer just butchered Sasha Pavlovic's name
  7. say what you want, the Bulls are competing tonite. The Cavs have flat out embarrassed them this year, the Bulls look pretty good tonite
  8. I have a nice layer of frost on my kitchen window right now. thank god I sealed my other windows, I can feel the cool air coming off them still, I cant imagine how cold it would be in my place if I didnt seal any of them.
  9. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 09:07 PM) The idea of a rotation possibly with Garcia AND Colon is just laughable. mmmmK. nothing wrong with insurance
  10. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 08:42 PM) http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/alevy/20...geese-a-chance/ Sad thing is, there are probably some PETA people that think this. This is quite ridiculous.

  13. lol, the foul that LeBron tried to pin on Nocioni wasnt even close to a foul. i will be the first to admit that Nocioni is rough(read: dirty), but not that time
  14. I know its only been a few games, but Hinrich looks a lot more aggressive. Last year he was just unbelievably passive in every facet of his game
  15. QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 07:50 PM) The kid's ten. When was the last time you heard of a smart 10 year old? Maybe because I had already seen the movie "A Christmas Story" 5 times by the time I was 10, but I knew what to do if that ever happened. Me and my best friend talked about it a few times growing up. Both of us did it, but our tongues came right off
  16. Well, at least the Sox took advantage in their last shot
  17. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 07:00 PM) I prefer Getz. I really like how he looked at the plate in limited action last year. I think he could become sorta like Marcus Giles for Atlanta before he and Prior injured each other. you mean before PED testing
  18. dummy. Should have had his friends get a glass of warm water and avoided the pain
  19. QUOTE (shipps @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 01:32 PM) If someone is dropping a serious bomb and shows know courtesy to others just turn the lights off. I have honestly done this twice before and it will make you feel alot better. I have waited for you to correct this. You are now fair game eye will show know mer see
  20. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 04:29 PM) Moose pointed some fingers and burned a bridge or two when he left no doubt, but I honestly saw him as the only real leadership presence on the offensive side of the ball. He just looked completely washed up in '07 though and he obviously wasn't. i couldnt disagree more. there were a lot of whispers that moose led a player revolt in 05 that got Orton benched for Rex because he wasnt getting the ball enough. And I watched him on the comcast bears show that he was on, that guy pointed more fingers than I could count, and with all of his drops he shouldnt have been pointing the finger at anyone else. He was supposed to be the leader, but I didnt see it.
  21. LOL, Michael Irvins carjacking story is starting to show some leaks

  23. I used to work in a building where there were only 2 businesses on our floor, and somebody(i found out it was a guy i worked with) was missing the urinal and leaving a small puddle underneath. I typed up a professional memo about how important it was to actually get it into the urinal and gave instructions on how to shake it. I addressed the memo "To: those without aim", and I signed it "Sincerely, Those who can get it in the toilet without being told how" It stopped. Immediately
  24. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 01:22 PM) I also hate that I always seem to go to the bathroom at work right when someone's dropping a deuce. I wish they'd put a fan or some windows in there or something. oh my god, mine is the worst. sometimes I just go to another bathroom. I dont understand how 1 person could possibly smell up the entire bathroom in the way that they do, our bathrooms are humungous
  25. I hate the fact that my car has the defroster on full blast with the rear window defroster and I still have the windows freezing over because it isnt enough
