  1. QUOTE (The Critic @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 12:40 PM) Well, then, out with Manu and in with Jake The Snake's daughter. DONE AND DONE! Is this a joke, or is she a hottie?
  2. QUOTE (The Critic @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 11:32 AM) Orton is much more interesting on the mic lately, I have to admit, although I'm not too keen on him leading the Legacy faction. It doesn't help him and it doesn't elevate DiBiase or Rhodes. It could (and still can) be a much more effective vehicle for a batch of midcarders to get over. Manu, Snuka, Natalya Neidhart, DH Smith, Mike Rotundo's kid (can't remember his name, he's down in Florida right now) - they could all be helped by the rub a heel stable could provide. DiBiase seemed like he was capable of handling the mouthpiece role. Orton doesn't need them, and they really don't need him either. He could continue using them for numbers or sneak attacks, but not as underlings (which they look like right now). from a few things I have read, Manu is walking on very thin ice. His exile from the legacy faction wasnt as much storyline as it was Ortons true feelings.
  3. QUOTE (onedude @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 12:43 AM) Go to a big campus on a couple weekends and jump into a few parties. I bet it wouldn't take long. Oh no, that wouldnt draw any attention at all
  4. anyone catch Morrison and Miz ripping on the Cubs? lol
  5. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 01:16 AM) dave is always the best part for me. Dave was pretty funny. I also liked that the guy from Saved by the Bell was the commercial agent
  6. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 09:04 PM) I, uh... respectfully disagree. Does he, uh....not get outs and saves anymore? Because I, uh....missed that. last year-30 saves, 07-40 saves, 06-41 saves
  7. Stephanie gave Orton a nice slap earlier
  8. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 08:26 PM) Well, Bernstein is smarter than almost every single meatball caller that gets on the show. If fans weren't such idiots he wouldn't have to go off like he does. How many 'orton is god' and 'why doesn't lovie talk into the headset' calls does he have to take? LOL, the repeater calls drive Bernstein up the wall. Especially during the football season
  9. orton touched the ground, he was just as out as Kane. And another thing, Kofi didnt go over the top rope, he went through the ropes. bogus opening match, blown spots all over the place
  10. QUOTE (jenks45monster @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 06:51 PM) Agreed. I don't like A.J. being a part of it either. He now has no chance of building good relationships with our new pitchers in ST. GMAB, its a few weeks. They are going to spend the next 6 months together.
  11. QUOTE (MO2005 @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 03:08 PM) Nice! Can you please throw 100 mph again Im happy with him getting saves and outs.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 01:40 PM) Just got back from my local C.C. basically, all electronics at 10% off... not that big. VERY few things... mostly cables or power strips are 30%. I'm holing onto my cash until I see the %s go up, then I'll pick over the remainders. Golf and Meacham circuit city?
  13. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 01:50 PM) Not like his track record for 1st round picks is great. And one of this team's greatest need is WR. Why not get a for sure thing? I couldnt agree more. That being said, Angelo covets his picks like none other
  14. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 11:00 AM) Seriously, why would anyone dislike Kurt Warner? his wife And I dont dislike warner, but his wife is a piece of work
  15. I would give him the start based purely on his diving catch to end the season.

QUOTE (shipps @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 10:12 AM) Do your kids paint your minivan windows, "WE ARE GOING TO SEE THE JONAS BROTHERS TONIGHT!!!!WOOOOOOO!!!!!OMG"! ? There was so much of that s*** going on when they were in town.lol Are you kidding? It costs an arm and a leg to take a kid to a show like that. She gets the free disney concerts on comcast and the cds, no shows right

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 08:46 AM) No kidding. Most decent mechanics would have checked that when installing a new battery. its right in front of their face, there is nothing they need to check. At the very least they should have taken a wire brush to the connector to get some of the corroded crap off if they werent going to tell you that you needed a new wire. Just plain laziness

QUOTE (The Critic @ Jan 18, 2009 -> 10:58 PM) Unless it's audio shrapnel from your 9-year-old playing it over and over and over and over (not that I'd know anything about THAT), then yes, it's very, very wrong. my eight year old is going all Jonas Brothers on me. i think it could be worse, but i dont know how
  19. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Jan 17, 2009 -> 10:45 PM) Was that Gregory Pratt who answered that correctly? There is no way he would have been able to get that answer out of his mouth
  20. I dont know how many of you watch the show, but its one of my favorites. Smooth transition to the second season, tonite was hilarious. My favorite moment was when Dave sold the pen to Bret, and when Jemaine tried to use the same tactic in their contract negotiation, lol.
  21. SIU returns the favor to Bradley and wins 68-62. It shouldnt have even been that close, but once Anthony Booker got hurt the wind came out of the Salukis sails. Hopefully he doesnt have a significant knee injury

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jan 18, 2009 -> 05:24 PM) When I'm taking pictures like that I feel like I should maybe not drink ever again. Wow. I give you kudos(i think?) for having the nads to post this, but personally I think I would find another drunk picture of myself to post. Mostly one of me not wearing a skintight tinkerbell shirt
  23. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 18, 2009 -> 06:41 PM) Think his point was when Javy has a very good year, more times than not, it's going to be when the team overall sucks. And the facts back that up. Personally, I don't care if Javy goes 20-5 in '09. I never wanted him here to begin with (I rolled with it. We were coming off a championship. Kenny could've traded for anybody and I wouldn't have complained). Javy did flat nothing in three years here besides costing us a potential stud CF for the next decade (Kenny obviously made the trade. Still pisses me off), and hurting our draft position in 2007 by, of course, dominating when were were 20 games out of it. And even then, if you look at Javys years in Montreal it is very much the same. Up and down, year to year. The guy defines the term "Consistently Inconsistent" Just look at his year to year results http://www.baseball-reference.com/v/vazquja01.shtml And I understand that he was on some truly bad Montreal teams, but i still dont buy the "He would have won a cy young on washington" reasoning
  24. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Jan 18, 2009 -> 05:23 PM) Ok, ok. But everything aside what is Hampton good for after football? What is Holmes good for at all? Hampton is quite worthless, totally agreed. even when it comes to football, he is just choppy with his thoughts and expressing them
  25. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jan 17, 2009 -> 11:04 PM) Javier Vazquez is a pitcher who would win the Cy Young if he was playing in Washington. In Chicago, it's different. When he had to win a big game, he couldn't. Period. The guy isn't a terrific pitcher, but a terrible one. End of story. TRA, WAR, whatever the f***- just stop. He sucks. Thats just not true. javy has been on bad teams and still has had problems, he wasnt all that special in Arizona in 2005, and they went 77-85
