QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Mar 9, 2008 -> 03:00 PM) The Bank Job was a quality action flick. I just wonder exactly how much of it is true. I'd recommend seeing it. Are there any leaked pictures of Two Face as there were with the Joker? They have kept him locked down pretty well so far. I havent seen anything yet. Im wondering how long the movie is going to be, there seems to be so many things going on in the Dark Knight already, the movie has to be at least 2 hours long already

2008 MLB Catch-All Thread
QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 8, 2008 -> 08:56 PM) The only people that Cecil likes are Mrs. Butterworth, Mrs. Paul's and Aunt Jemima. You also forgot the creditors in Las Vegas. Cecil is really good friends with those guys

2008 MLB Catch-All Thread
QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 04:36 PM) Fielder unhappy with his contract. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20...sp&c_id=mlb I really want to like this guy, probably because I liked his father Cecil. But after I watched that show E:60 on ESPN and the way he refuses to talk to his dad, he makes me sick. I am pretty sure that Cecil gambled away pretty much everything he ever earned, and he put his family in some pretty bad situations because of it

Patrick Swayze diagnosed with pancreatic cancer
Yeah, pancreatic cancer is really bad. My doctor told me that the reason it is so bad is because the pancreas controls hormone distribution and once that gets thrown off, your body starts to go crazy. Hopes and Prayers for PS

NFL Draft What-If
Olsen is going to have far greater of an impact than Kolb ever would have with the Bears.

sox are offensive
QUOTE(WCSox @ Mar 5, 2008 -> 12:56 PM) Is it just me, or are they not hitting many homers at all? That seems somewhat strange, with all of the two-baggers into the gaps. Maybe they are stressing hitting line drives instead of the ole lift an' pull

*Official* Arch Madness Thread
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 5, 2008 -> 11:07 AM) Is the "Arch madness" some sort of hilarious, St. Louis based pun? It has been the name of the MVC Conference tournament since they started playing it in St Louis

Marty Booker, Brandon Lloyd sign with Bears
QUOTE(thedoctor @ Mar 5, 2008 -> 12:04 PM) i'd love to see this and it would be exactly the type of thing the bear offense needs. however, this type of move would be bold and creative and i can't say i've ever thought of angelo as either bold or creative. I thought Booker for Ogunleye was pretty bold and creative

Marty Booker, Brandon Lloyd sign with Bears
yestery B&B were talkign the possibility of getting Larry Fitzgerald from Arizona. Reason being, LFs contract is a huge burden on the Cardinals cap and is preventing them from making additional moves to make the team better. Im not saying this is a strong possibility, but it was a nice little daydream

Video Game Catch-All Thread
QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Mar 5, 2008 -> 08:10 AM) Well, you can't really take it back after you open it! It's a calculated move based on the reviews being about 90% negative. I said "what the hell" and picked it up because its the only option, but after reading the framerate issues alone, I refuse to drop $64.04 on an unfinished product just because its the only option. Seriously, NFL 2k > Madden, MVP > MLB 2k... this couldn't have gone any worse, and I'm sick of it. I guarantee I feel much better about exchanging MLB 2k8 for GTA IV pre-order than I would about opening that, from all accounts I've heard, piece of s*** game. I dont blame you one bit. Nobody on this thread has given it glowing reviews either

Heroes in a Half-Shell
QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 10:05 PM) My 4-year-old brother saw it like 20 times. Then he had to get all the Turtles action figures (each having two variations), and Raphael on a motorcycle, and the van. I just found it funny that we're 20 years apart and we had the same childhood obsession. Leonardo is both of our favorites. So if you like Curious George, Elmo, and Go Diego Go like he does, you'll probably enjoy the movie a lot too. the reviews i read on some of the movie sites said it was more aimed at our age, more of an adult themed movie. More based on the comics and graphic comics than the wimpy tv show
