  1. These threads do their job well
  2. One of the most prolific cartel leaders in history
  3. He is just an example I used. I would be all for it but I think he would be cost prohibitive
  4. Cali, you started this argument with me, not the other way around. I never once said I am against LHH, Escobar, or anything like that. I said I want the BEST PLAYER POSSIBLE REGARDLESS OF HANDEDNESS. If that happens to be Escobar I am fine with that. I just do not agree that the Sox should only find a left handed hitter to fill that void.
  5. Also Cali, you are saying the Sox have a mediocre record against RHP, what is it? I can see their batting stats vs RHP but I can't find how to parse out their team record vs RHP. I cannot imagine that they have won a majority of their games vs only left handed pitchers
  6. Don't you put your voodoo on me Ricky Bobby
  7. My point wasn't "I want trae turner", my point was "if this A player is better than that B player, but B player is left handed, you get the A player" I want the Sox to get better. If they acquire a good left handed player, good. If they acquire a good right handed player, ALSO GOOD. and stop telling me not to argue extremes like you aren't bringing up Rodon and Kopech dropping off. That is a significant hit to this team in the playoffs. maybe I should just tell you not to belabor my points
  8. Ok if the pitching fails in the playoffs it doesn't really matter if they have a balanced lineup. Pitching wins in the playoffs not offense. Lack of power is not going to be solved by acquiring Escobar, he isn't replacing Eloy and Robert. He will help but let's not act like all the sudden they are going to jump to the top of the power numbers because they trade for him. again, I understand wanting a left handed hitter. But if I can acquire someone like Trae Turner without bottoming out the minors I honestly don't give a flying fuck that he is a right handed hitter.
  9. Yea, it feels like a bubble pops and you get some relief, but the pressure usually comes back pretty quickly
  10. No, don't get it twisted. I understand wanting a left handed hitter like "most of the people in the sport". I am simply not obsessed with it. Teams win without it. The Sox were winning with a very right handed Madrigal, and it was fine, and it wasn't imperative to add one.
  11. I was half joking, I want a good player. Handedness is not important to me like it is to you
  12. Personally I want a right handed hitter for second just my preference
  13. He basically said that they do not expect him to play.
  14. We are trading for someone. I think you are gonna have to accept that ozzie actually just talked about getting Escobar on Mully and Haugh
  15. This team had to Emilio before they could Mendick
  16. This little teaser was released within the last few days and the "glitch" at the end reminds me very much of Spiderverse https://twitter.com/sonypicturesarg/status/1404423123676504067?s=10 it appears the above tweet was deleted but I got sneaky with it and recorded my screen lol IMG_1393.MP4
  17. Seems like they are more than competitive against RHP https://www.espn.com/mlb/team/splits/_/name/chw The Rays are batting .222 and .236 against LHP and RHP Oakland .246 and .230 Phillies .250 and .236 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I would post all of the top teams numbers but I don't think I have the storage available to do it, but you can check for yourself. Sox are doing better or right on par with the rest
  18. Abreu death knell thread, meet Leury death knell thread.
