  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 11:15 AM) Exactly. The chances are miniscule. Heck the Bulls probably have a better chance of beating the Cavs than the do of getting the #1 pick. Anything is better than 0%... and that is the chance the Bulls have of beating the Cavaliers.
  2. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 09:54 AM) Pretty cruical victory in terms of getting a little bit of momentum heading into Toronto. Add to that, 2-4 looks worlds better than 1-5.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 10:02 AM) You do realize the only way the Bulls get to keep their pick in either case is if the Bulls ball comes up 1,2, or 3? The chances for the Bulls to get those picks from the 11th spot are, in order: 0.008 0.009 0.012. The Bulls would have a 0.3% chance of not having Milwaukee swap picks. I would like you to meet Derrick Rose.

    Grillin'!

Go with option #2. My mid-level gas grill (about $250 at Home Depot) has lasted me for three years and still looks new. It's all in how you take care of it.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 11, 2010 -> 11:58 PM) Maybe you need to "tap it" instead of actually "hitting it." (giggady) At least that's how it was when I played Madden as far as sliding instead of diving. Negative. The throwing is "pressure sensitive" so the harder you hit the button, the harder the ball is thrown. Normally when you're hitting the cutoff for a relay, you want to jam that mof***a! I also have never had a problem with the L1.
  6. I hate that people are actually rooting for the Bulls. I also hate that I'm forced to root against them for the better good of the franchise. Hooray for first round sweeps at the hands of LBJ and co.

QUOTE (kev211 @ Apr 11, 2010 -> 05:00 PM) L1 is cutoff man. What he said. The proper button normally yields the expected results...
  8. So if we beat the Wings and the Kings win, we play the Wings in round two if they advance...
  9. QUOTE (Disco72 @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 11:08 PM) I know it's a long offseason, and it sucks that the team is not winning. However, the massive overreaction going on right now is hilarious. This.
  10. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 10:59 PM) FG will get smoked! Big Game Freddy is going to make you eat those words. I hope.
  11. QUOTE (Benchwarmerjim @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 10:36 PM) * Electronic equipment that interferes with other fans' enjoyment of the game Laptops could fall under this category but personally, I would allow laptops into the game Just don't watch pron.

QUOTE (Mr. Showtime @ Apr 7, 2010 -> 06:52 PM) Is there any kind of home plate celebration after the game winning homer? Yes. They have a variety. The last one had Alexei come to home plate, flip his helmet and stomp across the dish while being mobbed by his teammates. They have a bunch of them, and they're all pretty cool.
  13. I hope you e-mailed your professor beforehand. This sounds more like "skipped class forgot midterm" than sickness. I'd have gone to the midterm come hell or high water!
  14. QUOTE (PeavyTime @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 11:51 PM) Ryan Howard isn't there. Neither is Albert Pujols. Would you like to talk about their games? You're just being strange. Jim Thome wanted to sign with the Sox and gave them every chance to, and he played for us the last four seasons. Stop trying to act like you're awesome and just keep quiet.
  15. QUOTE (PeavyTime @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 11:44 PM) What's that have to do with today's Indians/White Sox game? Wow. How quickly we stop giving a s*** about cool former White Sox...
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 11:33 PM) Sergio Santos looked GREAT. Dare I say potential closer in the making? I hope. I have very little faith in present closer.
  17. Let's look at the positives from tonight. When absolutely necessary... Gordon Beckham sure as s*** can bunt!
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 11:25 PM) Please tell me then what I missed? I think I'd rather ignore you. Clearly the Sox are going to play .300 ball from here on out and are completely terrible because of two losses in 38 degree weather. Give me a break. There were multiple liners to center and right... including balls hit the opposite way and NOT PULLED tonight that unfortunately were caught. The Tribe, meanwhile, got many many bloop and seeing eye weak ass hits. Things will even out, and I'm glad i won't have been the fan who bailed with 159 games to go.
