Besides just because he doesn't fit the Sox profile doesn't mean he isn't perfect for another team looking for what Garland offers. You also have to factor in how the Sox have historically done business, and signing free agent pitchers to big deals isn't something the Sox have EVER done.

I'm glad I am not alone in finding Sarah Silverman 100% contrived and not funny.
