White Sox vs. Yankees, 5/17/07 (W)
Ugh, that's a way to blow a golden opportunity. Two on and nobody out, and we can't even get a guy to third. Those are things that will haunt you against the offense.

QUOTE(G&T @ May 17, 2007 -> 02:04 PM) Posada had something in his eye. Most likely part of the bat from AJ when his bat broke. Ah, glad it wasn't serious. GAME ON!

2007 MLB Catch-All Thread
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ May 17, 2007 -> 01:28 PM) I hear Sidney Ponson is looking for work. And by "looking for work" I mean getting drunk on a beach looking for a judge to punch. If you hear of someone hiring, let me know!

Wow, and people b**** about Ozzie!

I hope they send Terrero down and let Sweeney keep starting as long as keeps looking confident. I think we have all learned that none of Cintron, Mackowiak, and Ozuna should be starting in the majors, like some of us had said for a while.

SI: Most Intimidating Pitcher
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 16, 2007 -> 09:59 PM) Dan, couldn't disagree with you more. Ryan may have had a better fastball, but he is nowhere near the pitcher that Clemens is/was. Seriously? Nolan Ryan after his early years, turned into one of the best pitchers in the history of the game. Once he learned the circle change and lost something out of his fastball, he really learned how to pitch.

Bears DE Alex Brown asks premission to seek a trade
QUOTE(RME JICO @ May 17, 2007 -> 11:20 AM) Thomas Jones, Lance Briggs, and now Alex Brown. Something is going on behind the scenes. His contract is very cap friendly: 07 - $0.595 08 - $0.550 09 - $0.670 10 - FA Nothing is going on... These guys want their money, and they know they won't get it from Jerry Angelo. They aren't stupid.

QUOTE(quickman @ May 17, 2007 -> 12:01 PM) A cripple could play better than Molina. Ok, lets leave Ron Santo out of this...

Just don't forget I MAKE THE f***ING LINE UP!!!- American Idol
QUOTE(Soxy @ May 17, 2007 -> 09:50 AM) I also predict that between winning (which I think is obvious it will happen) and releasing her albulm, Jordin will drop 20-30 pounds. That's a real good call. Unforunately they do that to all of the female winners. Its sad because I liked the old Kelly Clarkson way better too. I think with Jordin's athletic build (remember her dad was in the NFL) it won't look right on her either.- May 15th "gas protest" nonsense
QUOTE(kapkomet @ May 17, 2007 -> 09:48 AM) Come on, sheep. The government is just fine with gas prices being high because they get their cut. Why (besides special interests up the ass) are they dragging their feet so much on alternative energy? Because gas taxes are HIGHLY reliable as a revenue source for the government as it stands right now. baaa baaaa- Happy Birthday Cerbaho-WG
