What happen to the post???
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 12:56 PM) Let me mess with it, and I'll create the group. Take a look at the group, and make sure that you have all of the same abilities and stuff like that as you had before. If it all works, let me know, and then I will add anyone else who wants to be in the group.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 12:12 PM) Peyton is a class act and when it is all said and done, he may be remembered as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. Congrats to the Colts on a nice win and here's hoping they knock out the Pats. Go Insurance Adjusters! I am glad I am not the only one who laughs at that commericial "CUT THAT MEAT, CUT THAT MEAT!!!"

ESPN Rumor Central
QUOTE(elrockinMT @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 11:55 AM) With all these articles on the Sox being: interested in (insert name of player), inquring about (insert name player), could possibly use (insert name of player) it should be obvious that these stories are just a lot of speculation and analysis of writers who have no clue about what KW is doing. The very obvious question is why would we trade for Byrne when we have a loaded OF now? Rowand has come into his own now and the idea we need to "unload him" is crazy. We have Dye signed for LF or RF, we have Everett supposedly healthy and ready to play one of the corner spots or DH if needed. Byrne for IB? Has he ever played IB on a regular basis? Timo Perez and Joe B will be the rest of the OF. I could see Everett being traded, but it sure seems that KW loves ther guy since he traded for him twice. The idea floated around that maybe KW was looking at Ray Durham probably makes mores sense than any rumor I have heard lately. The question there though is what cost in players and salary and is it worth it? Sounds like at least the Durham rumor had some legs though, with independant confirmation occuring. I wonder what Ray really thinks about coming back to Chicago?

Koch back with the Blue Jays
I gotta say, dispite everything that happened on the field, I like Billy's attitude. He was honest, up front, and never ducked the media. Hopefully he finds his way again.

QUOTE(farmteam @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 09:40 PM) Oh, by the way, I'm not saying the Illini will go undefeated and/or win the National Championship. I am saying you're giving too much credit to Kansas and too little to Illinois. I totally agree with you. I don't think any team in the country is good enough to go undefeated this year, and most likely no one will finish with as few as one loss. When you play in the SEC/ACC/Big10/Big12 you just have to expect to lose a couple of games. Illinios won't be an exception to this, and neither will Kansas.

Byrnes would be an excellent 4th OF for the Sox. It gives them a real CF off of the bench.

It Depends How You Define "Quiet"...
QUOTE(MurcieOne @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 08:50 AM) WoW... thats a pretty annoying little article. "they signed A.J. Pierzynski... but hes no Pudge Rodriquez" ouch... what place did they finish in with pudge last year? Sounds like a bitter message board poster, instead of a major urban sportswriter to me...
