  1. Honestly I can't believe they are all sticking to the story line that it was isolated. I want to know who ordered/allowed it.

  5. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5590380/ Get ready for $2.50 gas prices, like I said a few months ago...
  6. First one that mentions my name gets banned
  7. Has anyone else actually ever ridden out a hurricane? I got to ride out Alicia from about 60 miles inland, and actually got to experience the eye of a cane that time. I also got to experience Allen from about 30 miles inland, but it was much, much less intense-even from closer to the Gluf. Hurricane Alicia
  8. $50 million
  9. Sure, Steff communicates what is to happen, and Jim does it respectfully and honestly
  10. Ang and I did a much more informal premarital counsiling, and it did bring up some good things we had never really thought about before. Plus we know the pastors family really well (we still volunteer with their youth group) so we had dinners and lots of fun over there as well.
  11. Why would you throw potential millions away for something so trivial?
  12. Yeah, the Big Ten has choked on it every year. I am not counting on anything. BTW what are the match ups for this year?
  13. No you are right, he is a Kansas fan. But in his eyes, everyone else sucks and is inferior forever to the Jayhawks.
  14. Good for JR. Hopefully he is successful, but I will take Garcia for sure.
  15. Alex has indeed become the first Atlantic Hurricane of 2004 and is bearing down on NC
  16. I know you are joking, but Walkers philosophy is basically short and quick. Look at the differences in ARows swing. He also had shortened Crede's swing at one point, but Joe seems to have reaquired the buggy-whip section of his swing. When he was successful was when he was short and quick.
  17. That's awesome. Let him rot down there.
  18. One is the loneliest number....
  19. Most advertised birthday, ever! Happy Birthday Minny

As a humanitarian group the UN does an excellent job. As a political organization, the UN is a failure. I don't know how you can say the UN isn't a lapdog of the US when all it takes is one vote from the US to derail what the entire rest of the world wants to do. And when it takes one vote to halt anything and everything, the voices of the world are not being heard. For Gods sake they delayed and weakened the resolution because they didn't like the connotations of the word "sanctions". Boy that's gutsy, we'll take sanctions against you if you don't stop allowing militias, which are government "encouraged" to keep raping and killing people. And you have 30 days to do it. But no, that is just too doggone tough. I guess the UN doesn't really get tough until they get up to like a million people like in Rwanda. Boy am I glad there was decisive action taken on... oh wait nevermind. I very much agree with Apu. The UN is effectively our b****. They are totally dependant on the US for just about everything from funding, to troops, to political legitimacy. As a nuetral world political organization, the UN is useless anymore.
  21. Didn't they get Mota from LA? I gotta imagine that Mota would close.
