I got the impression that he said something from the dugout and got tossed, because he was PISSED coming out of the dugout when they got a camera on him. My guess is that he said too much (and justifiably so), got tossed, and lost it -

Taylor is as bad, or worse than, Luis Robert, even at Roberts lowest. -

I'm sorry either way -
I am not an huge fan of Personnel dropping themselves to engage with social media types, as typically draws into a lowest common denominator type discussion. Also the biggest thing for Dutch is this his first year as a true starting pitcher. He's literally never pitched late into games before this year. Learning how to make your stuff last 100 pitches instead 50 is a challenge he is undergoing for the first time in his life. Some loss of stuff should be expected if you understand the game at all.

Just like most of the internal candidates, they don't seem to like or respect his game.

Or has a history of being productive at player development. -
It is easier to judge when said players regularly end up in key line up positions right before they are yeeted from the roster.

Anyone who thinks Tony LaRussa brought anything positive to this organization this time around is truly derranged. -
It means DFA is coming. Once they move him up the line up, it becomes imminent.

Sure, but most of us don't jerk off to them.

Ignore the names in the post, but pay attention to the number of PAs by each position in the batting order. Why, in an era of analytics and such, do we insist on putting our worst hitters in prime positions to get as many ABs as possible? We were literally maximizing some of the most value PAs for a guy we were literally on the verge of cutting. The difference between the 1 and 9 slots is almost an PA per GAME. The difference between the 4 and 9 slots is an extra PA every 2 games.
