Man our standards have just disappeared. Vargas is on pace for about a 3 WAR season, and that is the best of the lot. And that is "surprisingly good".

Forget about 2025 and 2026 as competitive seasons. It isn't going to happen. Give it up. There isn't going to spending. There isn't going to be additions. There isn't going to be hope. The Empire isn't striking back until after a CBA and/or a stadium announcement, and that is at the very least.
