That would include things like debt service, infrastructure, minor league expenses, front office people, equipment, etc. It's not cheap to run an MLB franchise, and I am sure the Sox are on the low end.
This is exactly it. The last one was so top heavy, but no depth. This one is depth, but a lack of top. Hopefully the pitching regression are temporary, otherwise we are talking at least a decade.

The Jerry regime has been an unmitigated disaster. To jump into the discussion and crap on every one who feels that is an insult to everyone who has experienced the last 45 years. Sure It CoUlD bE wOrSe, but the odds of that are near zero that we are going to be worse than literally the worst team in the history of MLB. Almost all of us will take our chances here.
