As of now, I set the draft date to the night before opening night. I'm still waiting on Sirtifiably Caffey to sign up/perhaps get his replacement. Also waiting on everyone else's keepers. If everything falls into place soon, I'll push the draft date up.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 25, 2012 -> 02:40 PM) Hizzle, when you get a chance, can you post each team's keepers? I want to know who's going to be available. For sure. As of now, you're the only one to get me their keepers.

Happy Birthday good sir.

QUOTE (smalls2598 @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 08:30 AM) I see the draft is currently set up for Sunday, March 25th at 930 pm. Is it possible to move that date/time? Yeah, it was just done as a placeholder. What night/time would work best for most of us?

Invites sent out!

QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jan 12, 2012 -> 09:22 AM) Crazy how premature all the "Kobe is done" talk was. I've never felt such a way about a professional athlete before. I so badly have always wanted to dislike him, but it's just too amazing to watch him play and too easy to respect the fact that he is the closest thing to Jordan in terms of winning, competitiveness, drive, and pure determination that we may ever see. The numbers he is putting up given the severity of his wrist injury, as well as the other nagging injuries, combined with the condensed schedule...truly amazing. He just scored 88 points in a back-to-back on a little over 50% shooting. I think alot of his scoring this year is due to not having the triangle offense "in his way." He's got more open space on the floor to do his thing, which will result in more shots that he wants.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Dec 24, 2011 -> 04:39 PM) God damnit Jets, that was so awful. Now the Cowboys have nothing to play for. At least Felix and Robinson have another week to get healthy, but now Romo is banged up. Just please, no injuries. And the defense showing SOME life would be nice. Nothing? If they win next week, they're in. If anything, they've got EVERYTHING to play for. But being a Cowboys fan, I have little confidence that they get it done. -
Totally forgot, I can't complain about getting KD as the #1 though. Should be a fun league.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:56 AM) Remember when all Vince Young did was win? Wasn't that fun too? Tebow isn't the head case that VY is either... At least I think... -
QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 19, 2011 -> 09:13 PM) Yeah, Waltman was right about that promoter letting Hall go out there like that or at least having him do all that stuff that looked like crap. Maybe the "promoter" thought that he was getting the last laugh by putting Hall out there, but really it just made him look like an asshole.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 19, 2011 -> 04:10 PM) I think most cops already have a pretty good idea when someone is high. Secondly, marijuana already has been vastly decriminalized. Not completely, but it's pretty simple to get your hands on if you are a smoker. Finally, you guys are concerned about additives from a regulated product? Seems to be there would be a lot more concern about additives from some jackass that sells it out of the back of his trunk than were it to be sold by a reputable company. Especially considering all the organically grown products on the market right now, I am sure there would be plenty very good products available, were it to become legalized and regulated. Sure it's simple to get my hands if you know people, but here in Illinois if I were to get caught with it I'd get a $1500 fine minimum. If it were completely decriminalized then it'd be possible for me to have a license to have it. Getting ahold of it isn't the issue, it's the fact that if I get pulled over & the cops want to search the vehicle or myself I could be f***ed. I wouldn't say I'm concerned about additives, just aware that it could very well happen. You have to do something to get people coming back to buy your product. So why not use an unfair advantage. Although, I'm sure there would be a company or two to do things the right way. As for buying from the jackass who may add stuff? That's why you don't buy from randoms.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Oct 18, 2011 -> 07:56 PM) Out of curiosity, if you would decriminalize, why not legalize? When you give the government ahold of something, they can do what they like with it. Leaving open the chance for companies to put "additives" in the marijuana. If you can decriminalize, you can have dispensaries distribute (also making it so that you'll need a license to obtain).

QUOTE (farmteam @ Oct 17, 2011 -> 09:04 PM) Interesting article on support for marijuana legalization. I would never be for legalizing it, I would decriminalize though.

I see what the WWE is trying to do here, but it just isn't working. CM Punk had ALL the momentum in the world. Then comes along Triple H & it goes to s***. Instead of Punk v. WWE, it becomes HHH losing control of the company. Meanwhile, Punk has done the job in the last 3 PPV main events. What else doesn't sit right about this "walking out" angle is that it doesn't feel sincere. It feels contrived. You've had incidents with cars (various wrestlers "run over", VKM being blown up ,etc.), commentators slammed through tables, refs beat up in the past but now it's an issue? Just doesn't make any sense.

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 06:11 PM) If Kemp can win the NL MVP, Bautista SHOULD win the AL MVP. Boston Wild Card or not. Please explain how you'd pick Bautista over Ellsbury, Miggy, AGon & Granderson.

I'm going with Milwaukee in this postseason.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 05:04 PM) Let's see: AL MVP: Bautista AL CY: Verlander AL ROY: Hosmer AL MOY: Maddon AL Exec: Friedman NL MVP: Kemp NL CY: Kershaw NL ROY: Kimbrel NL MOY: Gibson NL Exec: Melvin If Boston pulls out the WC, I'm going Ellsbury as my MVP. Agreed on the rest.

Jones is too good. Way too dominant against Rampage. Rampage didn't have anything close to an answer.

As a Cowboys fan, I really hope there's a chance that Jason Witten gets a shot at running over Hall & knocking him silly after reading that. Just shut up & play jackass. -
I know you love Tulo J4L. I'm still going Pujols.
