This board, quite honestly, is a huge part of what keeps me coming back as a fan. Being here since the beginning, and 20 years almost, that’s been a HUGE part of my Sox fandom. I loathe almost everything about the organization, because of the ownership and front office. But, I hope against hope, that our team defies what we all know is going to happen, and surprise everyone once again.

I don't see it as a bad deal for SF, at all. Go look at their future contract status...only 19 mil was committed beyond 2024 before this deal. They have a payroll now, that is only 13 mil over our current garbage pile. And, they have a franchise SS for the foreseeable future.

We have such a joke of an organization. It's painful to still be a Sox fan, if only it were something that we could actually change....

I find it amusing that some folks still think there is a “window” for this organization. A window to get a 1st round exit or 2, perhaps.
