If my boss encouraged me to pursue a job with a competitor, I would believe he was trying to tell me something. The Sox statement reminded me of the time Ron Schueler encouraged Jeff Torborg to listen to what the Mets had to say.

This guy was a huge White Sox fan. I can't imagine how much money he needed to make himself a Tigers fan instead. I thought unless he went Joe Buck and went national, he was in the booth for 30 years.

Probably after an exhaustive search, they will decide on the very poor man's Chip Caray, Mr. Conor McKight, saying they did it for the fans. It would take at least a season for someone from the outside to get to know the team.

To me, this is shocking. If it were to do the game of the week or something like that, it would be a different story. But while under contract to go to Detroit? C'mon man, there is some more White Sox dysfunction.

Yeah, I don't know why Jason would bolt to Detroit. He loves the Sox. Loves Steve. Something had to piss him off. When he was just starting, I thought he was trying to do a 2 hour comedy bit in 20 minutes. But he grew on me. This is another Sox loss.

The amazing thing about the huge ticket sales staff is the last few years I was a season ticketholder, the attention I received from the staff was nowhere near what it was the first 15-20 years..

He was a great player until he started getting hurt. First pitch of the 2007 season he put it on the board vs. Contreras. It was a sign of things to come for the White Sox that season.

not counting the 60 game 2020 where he missed 11 games, TA missed 39 games in 2019, 39 games in 2021, 83 games in 2022, and 39 games in 2023. Kind of hard to change the game when you aren’t playing.

Tyson obviously sucked, but really, what he's done as an undrafted free agent rookie, is pretty incredible. I'm not saying he's Peyton Manning, but his rookie QBR is very similar, even after yesterday.

I'd take Ross over Pedro. Of course, I'd take my high school coach over Pedro, and he has to be pushing 85.

I see a slight path for Gio, but JR would have to put his anti union feelings to rest. I think Gio would love to work with Katz. In fact, I think Flaherty may want that as well. 1 year contracts to see if they can make some cash.

I don't know why, if the money is the same, TA would pick the White Sox for 2024. They told him what they think. They are going to suck, and best case scenario is he plays well enough to get traded midseason. Why would you want that?

They could have had almost anyone they wanted when JR picked LaRussa. Now they are back to what they always will be with JR here, the redheaded stepchild of Chicago. They are the Angels without Ohtani or Trout.
