If Konerko came to bat with 2 out in an inning and had a 3-0 count, some on here would rather have him take and hope for a walk where it may take 3 consecutive hits for him to score, then to look for something in his sweet spot and hack away?

Some guys won't hit 3-0 even if you let them, but you should give some the opportunity.

Mark Kotsay is hitting .190 on the season. On June 6th, he is batting 5th and is the DH. I think from that information alone you would know the White Sox are having a terrible season. You wouldn't have to know Peavy's or Buehrle's or Floyd's ERA or Beckham's average or how many errors Teahen had.

Yeah Hawk, if he played 3 feet more shallow he would have had no shot at that.

Omar Vizquel has a better OBP this season than Ozzie Guillen had with the Sox and is only .005 lower than Luis Aparicio's career OBP.

The thing is if they win today they have less of a chance to win on Tuesday. Maybe they would just rather win Tuesday. Make no mistake about it. This is a good ballclub. They just haven't found their stride yet.

3 runs isn't enough to win this game, but when you get a coaching visit to the mound 1 out into the game, its not a good sign.

I just wish the Sox played him somewhere other than SS, even with his occassional spectacular play.
