I think part of it is Jose had more protection. I know advanced guys say there is no such thing because it is very hard to quantify, but ask any pitcher or manager or catcher if it matters who is hitting next when a good hitter is up, and they will all give you the same answer. Couple that with the fact Jose doesn't really take his walks, surrounding him with good hitters is only going to help his numbers.

I think Fantasy Football hurts ratings. People go to bars to watch the games instead of staying home where they can watch multiple games at the same time. What will be interesting is to see how teams reschedule games postponed due to weather and Covid. You would think they wouldn't want to schedule a DH and try to work off days late in the season for the better chance of more of a crowd. But at some point, especially if there is a team like the Cardinals last year,that has a Covid breakout, you are going to have to play the DHs even without fans.

They could be. The 2020 White Sox in a 60 game season, used 9 starters. They are going to have to have some depth especially since every pitcher is increasing his work load.
