02/24 - Sox vs Rangers
you wouldn't really think it, but you have to think it. They are going to suck, but I'm not putting anything into these February games. No one is where they are supposed to be yet.

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
And a little luck with pitchers health.

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
The easy solution is JR keep his shares until he dies but relinquishes control.

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
It would make no sense to stop pursuing something where he would be king, to be a silent partner now. And the Reinsdorfs talked him into it. There has to be some assurances.

What else is new: Moncada is hurt
More shock…Madrigal separated his shoulder.

Schriffen does it again...
To me he is a chooch, but at least he, or someone he has to listen to, realizes something has to change.

There must have been a lot of investors telling JR it’s time He’s gone from telling us his son will be forced to sell to out of towners because he owes the investors the best deal,, and that is not in this area, to this. LOL.

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
He will probably have him over for a caps and stems, bumps and bats party celebrating his windfall.

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
They deleted the diluted word from the original article. They aren’t creating new shares, just offering that amount for anyone who wants out.

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
Most at this point, inherited their shares, and would rather just have the money. Part owner of the White Sox doesn’t have the same cache it had 20 years ago.

As long as JR is around, he is going to have control. But why would you give up a bid to be the majority owner of an MLB team and have full control for anon conrrolling interest in another? He must have assurances he next up. Now, will JR sell why he's alive? I wouldn't think so unless there is someway he can offset his capital gains with capital losses. Maybe that 1901 project helps him there.

Mike Clevinger is back lol
I can admit I have no plumbing talent. In fact, I hate things like replacing water heaters and roofs. Hate clearing snow, hate cutting grass. So wr live in a condo and have all that stuff done for us.

Off-Season Pass the Time Catch-All
Yankees are going to allow well-groomed beards.

Mike Clevinger is back lol
Someone better give him a wellness check.

Mike Clevinger is back lol
2 dead giveaways how bad this signing is. WestEddy would endorse Bozo the Clown at SS if Getz signed him. He's stayed away. And TaylorStreet, the guy who hasn't left his mom's basement since Jose Valentin was playing SS, endorses it fully. It has to be terrible.

Mike Clevinger is back lol
Fat chance.

Mike Clevinger is back lol
Can't flip him for anything. He's always hurt. Do you really want him around your young pitchers? Even Westeddy hasn't tried to spin this one.

DeJong signs with Nationals...
That's assuming he would have come back. Last year really sucked for everyone. If you have other options, anywhere else may seem a better choice.

Sox Spring Training notes
Its like chunky sometimes at the one by me.

I agree. I used to love their beefs. Now it's only like it was about half the time.

Michael A. Taylor Signed
Looks like most got this hire right.

Thank God the Orioles fired him, so the White Sox now have a hitting guru. All you need for more bat speed is a better coach. If Getz selects coaches and front office staff like he does players, they might not be .500 until JR is gone.

It seems like a freebie to me. Has an option left, and since just about everyone has already passed on him, the Sox probably can get him through waivers if they want the roster spot.

Michael A. Taylor Signed
Until they really want change, and that would have included an exhaustive search to find the best GM, catch up is all they will ever play.

Most of this I would agree with if they were replacing him with another young guy or a real RF or real CF if Robert goes. I just don’t see the point of these retreads at this time. They aren’t getting flipped for anything. They aren’t going to lead the team to the playoffs. I just don’t see the logic in moving on from a younger guys who didn’t because he didn’t get it done last year to older guys who didn’t get it done last year.
