  1. More than likely, yes. But what does Tauchman, Slater and Booser really do for the Sox? Pham played at least as well as you would have expected last season, and what good was he, except to take a couple of million from JR's bank account?
  2. If they don't let the younger guys like Sosa and Ramos and Fletcher play, because they would rather play these re-treads, and eventually any of them wind up decent players, they have stunted it. But, you may not like what Getz was able to get for Bummer. You may not like what he was able to get for Cease. You may not like what he was able to get for Pham and Fedde and Kopech, but wait until you see the haul he gets for Tauchman, Booser and Slater. He may become the first guy to win Exec of the Year with a triple digit loss team.
  3. Fletcher came close last year and he hardly played. Now, apparently, the Sox don't want him, and want to get older.
  4. Has Getz given up on Fletcher?
  5. Had a solid .253 OBP last season, and is entering his ge 34 season, so you expect him to only get better.
  6. Hopefully. It's been missed by more than the White Sox. Lorenzo Barcelo was supposed to be the prize of the White Flag trade. But he was always too hurt. They could never find anything. KW literally called him a p****. Turns out he needed elbow and shoulder surgery.
  7. I do know he has stated in the past he didn’t deserve it. Said his greatness wasn’t long enough.
  8. pitchers in the low minors pitch very few innings. There will be plenty of innings for all of these guys.
  9. Even if he snaps back a bit, you aren't getting anything for him. Look what he brought before he was godawful and a lot younger at the deadline. A guy who hit .180 in A ball. Oh wait, we are supposed to think those guys have a chance to really be good one day.
  10. I'm not upset about Drury, but a lot has to go right to even get anything for him as a flip, and really, at this point, shouldn't the younger guys be getting the opportunity? I have the feeling, he's a longshot to make the team.
  11. You told us last year the bullpen was lockown. Now you tell us they have more pitching prospects than spots. See where people think youre full of it?
  12. You try to spin ridiculous things, and think your being clever. It isn't working. When the best you can do is the 10th pick in the draft, breaking the all time record for losses shouldn't be the plan. I'm glad youre not bothered by where the team is at, but the vast majority of fans are. Now they are practically giving tickets away, even for Opening Day. I believe the fanbase is being killed.
  13. The beat writer with sources obviously knows less than you;. Just read this. It's when Getz was the Minor League guy. Tells you all you need to know about his evaluation skills. https://www.mlb.com/news/white-sox-project-birmingham-program
  14. I think what most said about the Fedde trade was get the most for him. If that's in the division, so what? But apparently, Getz doesn't want to give a pitcher to a team 45 games better than the White Sox with a year left on his deal. Might haunt him.
  15. The White Sox have too many pitching prospects. LMAO. Must deal them for journeymen you can hopefully flip for next to nothing if everything works out.
  16. Just when you thought you could trust a source.........
  17. While I get all that, keep in mind, this is A ball, and there are questions about his attitude. It will be a miracle if he’s ever useful.
  18. Harold makes fun of others, but his track record as a prospect guru is pretty lame.
  19. No, I’m saying maybe you should hire Chris Getz to write your material.
  20. Can’t wait to see you at Zanies. Well, maybe not. You’re the White Sox of comedians.
  21. It’s been over 30 years, so….I know you think you sound clever, but you don’t. And again, I don’t regret any dime I have spent on the White Sox. Nor has it put me in debt, or make me retire later.
  22. If you only were half as smart as you think. Root for minor leaguers. I hope the guy is a star, but again, with these guys, it isn’t going to happen. Instead of being blind, get a clue. Learn from what you have seen. It’s history repeating itself. When the Powerball gets to a billion, I buy a ticket. It’s a waste of money. Some people buys hundreds of dollars of tickets. That’s what you are with this regime.
  23. It’s really just an awful thing for White Sox fans to complain about the state of the franchise. If the taxpayers did JR right, they would build him a new $2 billion stadium so he could make enough money to compete. But because they won’t, he’s just going to have to fly his private jet down to Nashville to see if he can get a better deal.
