I detest the SCORE but I will say their scheduling of content blows away ESPN. Listening to the hosts on ESPN drone one with callers is worthless. Maybe it is the windows in which I listen but when the SCORE has any guest on it usually a good listen.

As far as Proft goes. NO part of the city is safe. I don't know the solution to that but there are parts that are a literal war zone. i live in the safest part and 18 shots were exchanged at 6:45 in the morning earlier this summer, Speigs and Parkins are a good listen. I disliked their coverage of Clevenger but other than that I appreciate them. Bernstein takes the job too seriously and Rahimi sp? is trending that way. Her and Holmes would be a great show. With social media there is a lot of credible folks with credability issues. Too much smoke around Brooks on this issue for it to not be an issue. Schiffren is really bad at his job.

So St Louis and the White Sox agree that Edman and Fedde match up so Getz goes out gets the Dodgers to pick up Edman's contract from St Louis and finds some prospects he likes with the Dodgers. Then St Louis says give us Pham as well....Getz says OK and then St Louis says give us some cash as well and Getz says OK. At that point I think St Louis just felt bad for Getz and ending asking for things. The Dodgers took a flyer on Edman and Kopech for those three guys. They have the luxury of doing that. If they thought highly of Vargas at all they would not have looked at Edman and then Rosario. I guess they did miss on the guy they traded to the cubs so who knows.

There are no financial ramifications to this trade. If there are we need to just fold up shop. The financial side of this deal should have warranted a better return or hold on to the players as tanking is already complete and we do not benefit. This is a horseshit trade and you have to work really really really really really hard to view it otherwise.

Which would be great if winning the AAA world series was the goal. I'll be honest. The only thing I know about him was he was being told to not swing at pitches in spring training for some reason. You don't give away three cheap MLB productive players for that return.

That's the selling point on this deal for you....not that horrible production. None of those players traded needed to be moved as none were making any money. If you don't win the deal you hold on to them. Losing games is not an issue with those guys and there is no draft position in question they are squarely the worst team in the MLB. Getz seems like he would be over matched in a good fantasy baseball league. Someone in the JR family needs to take his keys away.
