If Grifol has any say in why he is not coming up, he needs to be fired.

Unless they can be flipped for something better. There is a risk there but for the Grossmann's, Keller's, Pham's the hope is that there is something to be gained by trading them. DFA'ing a Popeye is not a good idea unless the vet that bumped him is flipped for a better Popeye. The prospects that were rushed this year were done so by necessity. The pitchers because Clevenger and Keller were not ready and Flexen and then Soroka were killing the pen. My hope is Getz is doing all of this to give the guys time in minors as opposed to rushing the Vaughan's and Madrigal's that could have hampered them. Pham, Grossman, Feddee, Keller gambles in 2020-2022 would have been great as compared to stacking the 40 man with MiLB fodder and rushing guys.

This offense is just so embarassing. None of those 3 with first and second no out even had a chance.

I don't watch the NBA all that much but does Doc Rivers have photos of some elite folks in the NBA. I like the Bucks and Brewers because my Chicago teams suck so I root for them simply for proximity sake.

Bennetti is a great announcer and he is a huge White Sox fan. Oddly thought he could not find a way to bridge the two for White Sox broadcasts. That is my opinion.

I would guess this stems from WSCR and the fact that you would think that the White Sox actually blackballed Jason Benetti with their coverage of him since he has left. It was an opportunity for them to pile on the White Sox hate similar to the biased Clevenger coverage. I think Schriffen is better then Jason and it's inconceivable that the White Sox may have done something right...like...you know...have a broadcaster that actually broadcasts their games.

At a minimum and in honor of this thread, you would think the guy would say to himself. I'm playing tommy until we lose. He fits right in with the zero self awareness.

I like what Getz is doing. I know we all wanted Nick and Cannon to hang around but i like leaving them in the minors while the White Sox figure it out. If Keller and Clevenger can eat innings with Fedde and Flexen I like it. Brining guys along at a snail's pace seems to be a better approach than rushing guys. Getz seems much better at finding guys that are serviceable.

Yes to me it shows that nobody is barreling him up. You'd think a time or two someone would and get a juiced ball result.

Also is there a baggage story on Popeye. He couldn't be worse then Sosa or Lopez.
