Anderson is an idiot but I guess it works.

I really want Elvis to stay hot so that Hahn can sign him again next April
-
Looks like they wanted to but Andrew was having no part of it. Who is calling pitches? Let's hang the slider.
-
I love that this team thinks Trayce Thompson is good. Proves how stupid they really are.
-
This is why they all need to go. I have been harping on this point for a while. Moving Benentendi out of lineup spot and now going with multiple innings and consecutive days with relievers shows Grifol and Katz really are idiots. The fact they cannot bring any bullpen arm that is serviceable should get Getz fired. Grifol lost this team in April, if he ever had it.

After an exhaustive search, Getz named GM/VP

My stance on the White Sox is that they have a fixed budget and can do with it as they wish but are beholden to JR at he end of the day on major decisions. It is the mindset of KW and Hahn to spend their budget foolishly. I can't see JR being against building up a scouting and development department and losing out on the overpaid free agent. This feels like the JR model he has spoke about recently and would like. The Tampa and Baltimore models are what he wants. Hopefully he finds a baseball mind that sees it this way as well. -
I don't buy the Rick Hahn resigning stuff. Did this start after TLR was hired or was this before when KW was stepping on him for the 9 years prior. If this was over the last two years, I give JR credit, Hahn made this mess and in the end both he and KW were held accountable. If Hahn resigns after last year he can blame it on TLR and moves he was not allowed to make and 2020 and 2021 were just the beginning. After this season he isn't getting a GM job again any time soon and may not get a job in baseball at all. Why didn't either resign or agree to resign at the end of this season when they could leave gracefully. They are both fired rather publicly in the dog days of summer when the baseball news cycle can use a little heat. This doesn't add up. If KW is the man in charge why isn't he just pushed aside then Hahn can take over? If Hahn wanted a another job why not look for one and not hang around answering to KW for 12 years. They were both fired mid season after all of the years together. I would have thought KW would have at least gotten the John Paxson treatment or retired.

I don't think Soldier Field is more of a nightmare then Wrigley Field. Chicago losing the Bears and White Sox in the frame of 2 years is a lot of entertainment dollars. How a sportsbook in Chicago is not tied to one of them is insane. It's too bad there are no big thinkers in Chicago any longer and everyone is just trying to make the CTU happy.
-
He is loyal to the lap dogs. He uses the carrot mentality with everyone especially younger players to lock them in and then let's them walk. Pippen is the prime example. How is Jordan treated the way he is. The amount of money he has made Reinsdorf is insane. He has become a master puppeteer of sheeple like myself.

He will go 0-12 in this series, that's just how things work with your Chicago White Sox.

Grifol could be the dumbest most incompetent mfer I've even seen. For months guys couldn't be used on back to back nights but hey now let's over use guys. I like the thought today but why move to this strategy now? -

I think the injury around that time was the larger issue. His offfield idiocy is localized at this point. He finishes strong I think he opts out. -

How can they seriously run this offense out there next year. This is Rick's core we needed to see. Game about to be 4-0 -

I'm sure they didn't -
He is a horrible manager. One thing I find interesting is now that they are out of it, but wins still matter to him, guys are going multiple innings out of the pen. When winning mattered that never happened, even if a guy threw 5 pitches to get out of an inning.

I just turned on for first time in a while. Sounds like Yoan I'd hot. That AB says otherwise. How is he batting 4th. Promoting next season tickets. I'll hold off on that for now. -

Halsey or the other the switch hitter in AAA should be out there. God the organization sucks. Better lose all 3 to the Brewers -
No Official plans to announce for SoxFest

The owner hasn't attended in over 10 years, same with KW. This to me is another indication that Hahn is out he door. This is more about former players, seminars and baseball BS. Nobody would have gone last year or this year to listen to the nonsensical idiocy of Rick Hahn. I'd actually like to hear what KW had to say, he was usually a good listen. Didn't they feed us the same line of BS about honoring the fans somehow last winter? What a clown car of an organization. -
Keynan Middleton rips White Sox 'no rules' culture
Harry Chappas replied to maxjusttyped's topic in Pale Hose Talk
The team was run correctly under Renteria. Players seemed to play for him. He was a terrible game day manager but that could be worked around. When he was fired he needed to be replaced by somebody that could command the room. That did not happen. This organization failed the team by having a leadership void. The players know the roster is poorly constructed and have no respect for the coaching staff, the front office or themselves. Absolute s%*# show. -
