  1. wow that was an epic fail right there. Need Jake to do something here. oh adam what a fail
  2. dunn and peavy showing why they have no postseason resume at all that first pitch....ugh
  3. First pitch to Dunn should have been crushed.
  4. Geez he was dying to hit Wise Fister making Jake looking good. C'mon Youk lay one down.
  5. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Aug 31, 2012 -> 07:07 PM) hahahahaha infield defense. BUNT TO CABRERA JESUS f***ING CHRIST, BECKHAM Oddly I wanted a bunt but not now.
  6. Fister effectively wild as he is letting the Sox get themselves out.
  7. I would like to see someone try and lay down a bunt as opposed to a weak infield roller. If he is going to throw inside you are inviting a bunt down the third base line. Wise Ramiraz and Beckham should at least attempt it.
  8. Buck Showalter and Davey Johnson are great managers that get he most out of their teams.
  9. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Aug 25, 2012 -> 12:27 AM) ...why are you going to a movie in the middle of a playoff game? In the afternoon also
  10. QUOTE (Nokona @ Aug 25, 2012 -> 12:12 AM) LIVING IN A LONELY WORLD She took the midnight train going anywhere
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 25, 2012 -> 08:41 PM) Great game for Youk I thought he looked terrible until the 9th last night. The hit in the 9th was a laser.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 25, 2012 -> 08:39 PM) Reed had done a great job of late, and was brought into a pretty easy situation. He was cold and the tying run was on deck. I like reed but he is young. Last night was terrible managing nothing against reed. I just thought myers was the better option although veal was the best option with the lefties.
  13. Wouldn't last night have been ideal for myer$$$$$$$$ in the 9th after veal They need to consider him closing
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 25, 2012 -> 08:34 PM) I would have rather taken my chances against Olivo/Thornton Olivo seems to kill the sox. Didn't he hit one in the fan deck.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 24, 2012 -> 11:40 PM) I read elsewhere that Reed didn't start warming up until Veal was brought into the game. If that's the case, then Ventura/Cooper should have stalled a bit before bringing in Reed. Just got back from the game. Wow is about all I can say. Ventura tried to manage that game away. Reed faced all lefties it seemed like and he did not warm until Veal came in. Both Dunn and Konerko's balls looked like they were gone. Pulled a rabbit out of our ass tonight but it is All Good.
  16. Romero may no hit this team.
  17. This team looks unprepared to face any of these pitchers. It is looking almost to easy.
  18. Really is amazing how inept this team is when they play in Toronto. Alvarez barely throwing 10 pitches an inning.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 13, 2012 -> 03:13 PM) I kept calling him Matt Damon. And it was a stone cold move in the show. It will be interesting to see how long it takes Todd to die. I don't know, Todd seems like the kind of person they need to rub people out.
  20. ozzie guillen can actually make a team worse than it actually is with his antics. Dusty is just an ok manager whose team is on one hell of a hot streak
  21. The white sox struck out 16 times and walked once, that is the the whole story, end of story..
