twinkies @ White Sox, WCIU, 7:10 CST
Harry Chappas replied to justBLAZE's topic in 2010 Season in Review
Some explain to Hawk that good hitters are 2-0 becauce pitchers to not want them to beat them where as s*** hitters are 0-2 because pitchers to not fear them......Quentin is as about as useless as a player could be right now. -

MLBN was talking MVP and the guy with the Jays was in the talk with no Konerko. Konerko has as good a stats as Cabrera. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 15, 2010 -> 07:23 PM) Probably someone awful like Carlos Beltran You know it will be Rios they will pick up someone like beltran to bat 5th. I am curious to see who bats 2nd. This team will make minor moves this offseason and I am fine with that if they are legitimate minor moves and not bringing Kotsay back is one of them. -
QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Sep 15, 2010 -> 12:45 PM) I found myself turning up the volume and holding my breath every time they were on. I even thought about putting on CC. Funny I agree. I had no clue what was happening other than that Jimmy and Cam were not getting along. The whole Gemma thing is spreading the storyline thin which is funny becuaue Clay agrees with me. Her and her dad is pointless and then the sex thing and all of that was stupid and finally did Gemma think the chick was not going to see her face in the media anywhere. It is a pointless subplot. On the Eastbound and Down thingt he show has not been around long enogh to have a concrete opinion I like it but I think it has a short lifespan.

Look at he number of off days, they seem to be reduced greatly. The season ends on a Wednesday September 28th. Wow is tv really impacting baseball. Really not too tough as far as back to back series other than the 9 game west coast swing.

for those that want AJ gone, there are no better options out there he should be batting 9th and platooning with a RHH -

Danks really making it easy for them here for young pitchers Danks and Floyd do not seem to be getting any better with experience. -

AJ 0-3 with 2 K's and a GIDP good thing this game does not mean anything -

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 14, 2010 -> 08:49 PM) I normally would never say this, but I'd have Lillibridge bat and ask him to bunt here. to get to AJ and his 2 K's -

Danks is a average number 3 that looks to want to get paid like a solid number two guy. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 14, 2010 -> 08:35 PM) Trust me, there's no one more frustrated than I am when Duensing goes 8 innings, 1 run with mediocre stuff. Slowey and Baker seem to just throw 92 mph fastballs down the plate, and they have strong outings as well. Good post Ginger The Twins are the epitome of what nibbling Nardi Contreras wanted in a staff. Good control and living on the corners a hitter never seems to get a good pitch to hit. Everything is borderline and close. -
QUOTE (scotty22hotty @ Sep 13, 2010 -> 10:35 PM) resign omar & jones, Tank to 1B, morel to 3B, and Flowers at C invest the saved $ into the bullpen hit .220 as a team and lose 100+ games
-
liked the result but one run in seven innings in a game that you know you can pick up in the standings against bruce f***ing chen is not something to get excited about. offensively yhis team does not adjust from one ab to another. go to the central thread and see what grienke said about the twins and you will realize why they win and beat s*** pitchers. in a do or die time of the season the white sox offense has been stifled by three guys that should either be out of baseball or in the minors.

I am not an AJ fan but who replaces him? Also Quentin has zero value as a trade option now so it is best to hang on to him. I think if AJ goes Danks is part of a deal for a catcher.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 04:56 PM) Once again, I sure hope he doesn't go to a team in our division. He'll own us. They have won two games when trailing after 8 innings this year. Anyone who pitches the 9th owns the Whtie Sox.

Chicago White Sox. Kansas City Royals. 7:10 PM CST
Harry Chappas replied to Kyyle23's topic in 2010 Season in Review
I do not care about a pennat race or anything they should win these three games by at least five runs as they do not even face a AAA caliber pitcher......I know Chen is having a good year....their offense sucks too -
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 02:42 PM) He has been the bullpen in the last couple of weeks. That has more to do with it than anything. Yep, and before people start touting the Putz contract he has more health issues than Jenks. Not sure getting rid of Jenks is the answer.

Mayor Daley Won't Run for Re-Election
Harry Chappas replied to HuskyCaucasian's topic in The Filibuster
Word on the street is that the feds may hammer at jesse jr and rahmn in the next Blago trial to keep them out of the running for the mayoral position. Wess also may getting his walking papers. -
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 02:22 PM) 5-9 batters are 0-30 over the last two games That'll win you some ball games.
-
QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 02:07 PM) So Lillibridge is in at 2nd. Maybe he should have just hit instead of Kotsay. LHH/RHP RHH/LHP The only stat that guillen understands
-
QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 02:06 PM) I guess so... I was not serious.
-
Hey three of the four base runners the Sox have gotten in 8 innings have scored. Can't argue with that production.
-
Teahen is a better hitter than Kotsay Ramirez has really fallen off as well.
-
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 01:53 PM) You are way to harsh on CQ and JD Peolpe fail to realize that at this time last year the White Sox were ahead ofthe Twins in the division
