That's pretty much what it comes down to. I don't see how 2 teams who were expected to battle for the division title all year long get completely different schedules in September when the gms count most. I realize in the end everybody has played the same schedule. But somethin just ain't right about us playing the Yanks and Red Sox in Sept while they're playin the Tigers and Indians. Look at the Cubs in their division. They've been playin cupcakes all month. It just doesn't seem right. At the beginning of the year the Royals looked like the worst team in the division. To blame the schedule is foolhearty.

That is why the next two weeks are huge. If we win we get a good team next year, if we lose we get a team chalk full of question marks and FA losses. Garland, Loiaza, Buerhle, FA, FA is the norm for us. We will try and catch lightning in a bottle again.

I think they are kind of letting Baines hang around to get a feeling for what he may want to do in the future. With he and Sandy Alomar we have some good guys on the bench for teh future of the organization.

If Harlod is being groomed for something I think it would be to replace KW. Imagine dealing with that Poker face. As manager, I am not sure he could motivate.

With all of the arbitration and free agents. This offseason is the definign moment for the White Sox. They could spend a ton of money on one year deals and offering arbitration and if the suck next year, they can white flag guys. I beleive the following guys are in contract years; Gordon Loiaza (team option) Garland Buerhle Colon Alomar Everett Lee Thomas (Options a plaenty) Valentin (Incentive option) The only long term deals in place are Konerko and Koch. In 2004 all of the above could be free agents as well as Ordonez. This is where JR will show his true colors as what he wants in life. This team should be right there to win it all. All we need is a manager that can run a team.

How dishearting it will be that the best team I have seen in at least 20 years on the southside and they may be cleaning their lockers before October 1. Thank JM for that as the marathon is now a sprint and a couple of stumbles that were thought as harmless can be our undoing. Willie Harris batting in the tenth losing by a run, road trips to losing teams of 1-6 and 3-7. If those are .500 trips we are couting days. They should have been .667 (11-6,) and the champagne is ordered (7 game lead with 13 to play.) Not to mention 3 1-0 losses to San Diego and the Tigers twice. In the end this is a season that will test us as fans. The realization that a manager and organization have more of an effect that many believe. I for one am at a loss as anyhting less than the playoffs from these guys is a disgrace. I believe we have the best team in the American League bar none.

We could easily be 6-0 against them instead we are 2-4, story of our season talk to the manager.

We should not be having this conversation. Last evening I was thinking back over the season and how we should be at least 10 games up. There was a discussion on ESPN this morning about how much better the Sox are than anyone in the Central. I get sick when I think of all of the games we have given away over the season.

For the 100th time this year we came out flat as f***ing s*** in a big game. After handing it to them Monday and Tyesday we were flat as s***. I place the blame on manuel. After this season, one which we should have walked away with the division the story will be we were too tired at the end of the year by having our asses handed to us by the Tigers, Angels, Rangers and D-Rays. This is a complete f***ing joke. If I have to read about how Ghandi resurrected this team I am going to scream. This race should have been over a month ago. The Twins went 5-20 at one point. Again, this is a f***ing joke. At least JM will be gone before October 1. Then we can pay someone else $250,000 to run a Major League Basball team.

You understand Boston has handled us easily at OUR place, where we win. We need to hope we can go into Minnesota only a game out and take 2 out of 3. Two f***ing pop outs on the infield in the ninth.

Lack of outfield speed has cost us at least two runs and there is a guy on second because of it. Hitting can make for this but the last two days show why pithcing and defense win.

I have to vent, THIS TEAM SUCKS AND LOOK NO FURTHER THAN THEIR MANAGER! The first pitch f***ing swinging. When Lee, who has done this twice today, gets back to the dugout, you let him know about it. This is your lifeless Chicago White Sox. We do not hit bullpens so the longer this game goes the more likely we will give the Twins the push they need to win the division. This really f***ing sucks.
