  1. I want the Sox to sign one of Giolito of Cease to the largest contract in club history prior to spring raining just so that we do not have to belabor the point that Benintendi has the largest contract in team history. It's a stupid narrative but one the media likes to dwell on.
  2. I was just a little confused about doing it in the paver driveway
  3. My question is why is he doing that on a paver brick driveway? Just seems like an odd place and that yoga mat isn't offering much in the way of a mat on the same paver bricks. Doesn't he have an tennis court or something?
  4. That cold weather isn't good on the joints that's for sure.
  5. The medicals scared off two teams. When has that happened to a contract that big.....then the Twins committed $200M to him....last off season he couldn't get a long term offer. Maybe this works out but there is plenty of smoke around him to think this is a really bad deal for the Twins. Cohen wouldn't take that risk.
  6. The Mets wouldn't guarantee year two. Again, if he is not playing SS and is the DH or 1B in year two or three this is a really bad deal. The fact Cohen wouldn't get a deal done tells me that there is a lot there to be discouraged about.
  7. The medicals have to be something serious. If he is not playing SS you are severely overpaying for him. It's a risky move for the Twins...wonder if the cubs would have jumped back in. I also wonder if other teams asked for the physical results before negotiating.
  8. Bears falling ass backward into 1-1 makes Claypool trade for 2-1 tolerable. I think Claypool can be a guy as well and for some reason I like Harry.
  9. A team that has built up credibility with their fan base could pull it off like the Padres or the Mets. You also have teams that have no media coverage like Tampa, Oakland and to a degree Cleveland.
  10. Whatever gets the most capital trading pick or trading Fields is the move. Thinking either draft QB will be an upgrade on Fields is not the right play nor is tanking for Caleb Williams
  11. not to mention the triple play
  12. I'm thinking if Jason were not coming back Randazzo would have gotten the gig on tv or radio.
  13. If he plays, the entire game should be three step drops or running plays that are not planned QB runs. Claypool should be targeted on 90% of the passes.
  14. Seems the referees cost the Bulls two games in the last few days with the no call on Demar and the no call on the lane violation.
  15. My guess is that the game officials mentioned the 5 minutes and the coaches and players balked and then the league got involved and that ended it. There is zero precedent on this so I would think there is more to the story. As they were talking about after the game if the teams were notified that he was responsive and alert the game probably would have resumed. There is an AED on the sideline and plenty of professionals to assist in managing so maybe the timing is just not clear. The Go Fund ME is amazing, it's over $3M
  16. He was facing a team that did not have a front 7, the bears linebackers are embarrassingly bad and they may not be as bad as the D line.
  17. If the Bears get the 1 they trade it to Houston then trade the 2 to the Lions and get draft capital for the next 3 years,
  18. Cold as hell but little snow in city......Michigan home getting hammered. Heading there next week to check it out.
  19. Players turning on LaVine is something.
  20. Dansby should have waited a bit longer. Giolito would be a perfect fit for the Mets.
  21. Oddly enough for a 16 year old Cuban....their way of thinking got them Colas and Vera
  22. Gallo would have been ok but this move addresses their real needs.
  23. Sign a AAAA pitcher, AAAA outfielder that can defender an MLB 4th OF (Engel) give Mendick a minor league deal and roll with it. Find 2B internally
  24. Here's another stupid comparison. Pollock has a history of being injured and was old. Then there is the whole NL career thing...oh and he is right handed which the Sox don't need but these accounts there is nobody to sign after Harper and Judge.
  25. If you do not like this move you just want to be miserable and there is nothing that can be done. Stay miserable I don't care but it's a good signing and what they need. f*** it I will research to prove you wrong Eaton 1.0 24 age season OPS 86 Eaton 2.0 32 age season OPS 66 Eaton 3.0 27 age season OPS 120 carry on with your nonsense though and be a miserable Sox fan it that's what gives you your kicks. The eaton singings have nothing on this one but piss and moan and yell at the clouds while you are at it.
