call me crazy, but I'd gladly trade Buehrle for a good package. His velocity drop in the final couple of months really worries me. I know he was never a fireballer but he used to able to be in the 89-90 range. In the final two months, he was barely able to hit 87 and consistently hit in the 85-86 range. If we got offered Votto and plus some (that's not crap), I'd do that trade in a heartbeat.

It does not look like there will be a new MVP NCAA Baseball game. Big disappointment for me. But MLB 08 The Show looks like it will be better and the Road to the Show feature seems to be much more improved. MLB 2k8 is getting better, but meh.

D-Backs have no intention to trade Hudson now after they traded their future replacement for him.

yeah, the Cards did get the better end of it with the money saved, but this move is close to lateral for both teams.

I forgot who it was, but someone was predicting this trade earlier... Doesn't look like a win for either team really, IMO.

People talk about Gio being too small, they should look at Lincecum. Gio makes Lincecum look like an 8 year old.
