Bath towels
QUOTE(Soxy @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 02:10 PM) I agree, you only use them to dry off when you're already clean so why wash them everyday? It wouldn't be so bad if there was a constant supply of clean towels, but it seems like I am always running to laundry room and pulling one out of the dryer. On a related drying note, I found that for backpacking and camping these chamois type things are great. Kind of a clammy feeling, but they are small and lightweight and don't get all funky smelling after a couple days.

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 09:48 AM) Putting it all together thus far: Having recovered from the 12-gague vasectemy, Johhny left the house for an evening of quaffing from the firkin, his buckshot-riddled nethers ornately festooned with his favorite merkin. And to think, I could have been an English Comp teacher.- Catch-All Anything Thread

How can one person be that stupid? The kid did sound very calm the first time I heard the tape. It kills me to hear it. I hope that woman feels very bad about that. I hope that little guy's voice is haunting her dreams for a very long time. Has anyone heard what the station's protocal is for "prank" calls? I can't believe anywhere in their training is they should distinguise from prank and real. With caller ID, they kow it was someone at that location. :headshake WTF? Whomever made that decision should be fired on the spot. No way does she stay on the phones.- Brand Loyalty

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 08:39 AM) Mountainsmith I tried on a couple of their packs and they just don't seem to fit me. After suggesting to all my Scouts that Alps Mountaineering would be a great first pack (they offer great Scout discounts) I tried one and it is the best fitting sub $200 pack I've ever tried.
