I understand. He's entertaining. He's also an example of JR being too damn nostalgic. Ozzie crapped all over the team and JR blindly let's all these guys back.

What Will it Take for You to Give Up?
At some point we have to ask ourselves what kind of world do we want to leave for Willie and Keith.

Tim Anderson Suspended Three Games - Has Appealed
Tony should have a couple practices on how not to bump into umpires since apparently our players can't seem to master that skill. I bet great managers do that. Get all dressed up in a ump uniform and practice, practice, practice. Or, grown ass men who have been playing twenty years, can act like men who have been playing for twenty years. Bumping him is showing passion?! Really show some passion and deck the ump. This team is really screwed if they need a babysitter to keep them from hitting an ump.

What Will it Take for You to Give Up?
You're missing a huge point. There are a lot of folks who enjoy the friendships and atmosphere here as much, or perhaps even more, than the team. They will give up on the team before they will give up on Soxtalk. They post in all areas of the board. They are active in season and off season. You seem to be the opposite. You'll give up on Soxtalk before the team. Which is perfectly understandable. So thank you for posting that we should leave. But perhaps it's you that should leave. Bye. No, really -- bye now. You can go.

If the third baseman stayed home Engle would not have advanced. The bunt was too soft. But yeah, something in fair territory is unexpected.

I could be watching this game as an excuse to drink a couple beers. I brought back a few cases of Spotted Cow.

Just pointing out you don't necessarily have to be a great player to be a great coach in any sport.
